  • Sorry I didnt add webpage www.hobbyspot.com, and they also have other hobbies such as trains, Star Wars merchandise, Comic Book items, etc.

There should also be an edit for Albuquerque, NM. Noble Collectibles, there are two (2) of them, there is on location at 8216 Montgomery Blvd NE and 9311 Coors Blvd. NW Ste 19.

  • Sorry this will be the last post for today haha, can you also add TRADE IT, the ones that I visited were in Raleigh, NC (5925 Glenwood Ave & 3514 Capital Blvd) and they had a great collection of NES, SNES, Atari, etc. The website lists more of them in North Carolina (I can
  • The Alameda Video Game Exchange in Alameda, CA has TONS of old-school gaming goodness. Prices and hit or miss though. Best to do research on prices for games you want before stepping in.

  • In Missouri they added another Vintage Stock in South County Mall
  • Warp Zone games in Florida is gone. I just got back from Daytona on vacation and it's no longer there. Looking at the shitty shopping center it was located in, it's no wonder it went out of business. Just a heads up to get it off the list.
  • You have "play it trade it" and "play it!" in Ohio listed twice. They are actually the same store and are all in columbus, and there is now a fourth location. Some of them are called "play it!" and some are called "play it trade it". I think to make it less confusing it should just say "Play It Trade It - Columbus x4" since Lewis Center and Hilliard are just suburbs of Columbus. People from out of town traveling to Columbus will look at the list and might not realize those stores are actually in Columbus.

There is a new store in Columbus I found called "Warp Zone" that also needs to be added to the list
  • I wonder if Daytona Warp Zone moved to Columbus?

    Anyway, updated!
  • another castle opened in Huntsville al
  • Allied record exchange in Toledo oh, mainly a record store, but they do have used games. The selections gotten a lot smaller through the years though.

Video games underground, I think it's vgug.com, they're on the same road in Toledo. Nice place nice prices.
  • I just wanted to update the list for Washington.  D-Pad is re-opening in Des Moines within a week or so.  He's located next to Page Turner Books on Marine View Drive.  Pink Gorilla just opened a new store in Bellevue.  And lastly, I'm shutting down my booth in the antique mall and opening my own store; changing the name from Keefe's Comics and Collectibles to Hyper Sonic Games and Toys.  We're located at 15413 1st Ave Ct S C103, Tacoma, WA 98444.  Thanks!
  • I went to a Game Xchange in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma less than a month ago. I know that there is another location (same owner) in Claremore, Oklahoma. There are also several Vintage Stock stores in Tulsa, not just the 1. I have been to 2, and I do believe there are 3.

Still enjoying the 'new' (1 year now) Game Xchange in Stillwater, Ok.

NEVER go to Game King (there are 2 in Somerset and 1 in Lexington). They are triple ebay prices ($20 for common games like Blaster Master), and the thing that sucks is they have every rare game you can think of, but the prices are so high its not even worth it. They also sell reproduction carts for 100s of dollars and have them advertised as "rare" games (they had an Earthbound repro on a gold NES cart for $200)

"The Playroom" owner is a total douche. He is one of those guys that posts on craigslist with crap like "I am looking for a game I had as a kid called Stadium Events, I will pay $50 if you have it". He even offered me $30 for Duck Tales 2 once and tried to tell me it was only worth $50

I know exactly who you're talking about. Glasses wearing dude with that awful long goatee. He came to Dragon*Con in Atlanta for a few years with the most hilariously overpriced games. He had a complete Earthbound he'd always put on the top shelf in the dealer room and asked about $200 over eBay prices, and I'd ask him mockingly every year if he'd take eBay price, and he'd always reply in his douchey way that he'd never go down on the price. Then one year he told me he was pretty much going around and buying up every copy of Earthbound he could find so he could drive up demand on it and name his price.

I ran into him last year at the Classic Games Expo in Vegas and he had somehow gotten his hands on a gray NWC. God knows how much of a megadouche he'll turn into now, or if he ever got a gold one.

That said, a few other game stores in the Alabama area are a Replay's in Northport (and they said they were going to rebuild the Tuscaloosa one some day.) Then in both Chelsea, AL and Helena, AL there is a store called Zone 1 Games. They're nice people with some decent prices.

There is a thread on here about the Louisville Arcade Expo which he was at and he wanted $14,000 for it

If I remember right, didn't Pat the NES Punk only try to get $12,000 for his GOLD copy on Pawn Stars? I wouldn't be surprised if Game King's copy was a fake

Except Pat never had any intentions of actually selling it but let it be more publicly known.

Sounds about right for that dude. I hope he comes back to D*Con this year so I can laugh at his prices some more...

And yeah, the second I saw Pat on Pawn Stars, I immediately thought, "dude, there's no way you're on that show to try and sell anything. Especially THAT."

The guy out in Winthrop at Sudden Impact said this guy bought a ton of stuff off of him not too long ago... probably replenished his stuff after Pax...

I've yet to visit, but I might have to!
  • I can't seem to find an address, or any information, on the Game Mania in Cranberry Township Pennsylvania. Anyone else know any info on the place?
  • I got one for Utah that I went to yesterday. Prices are okay.

  • @ZachAttack,the Game King's copy of NWC is questionable but I've bought a couple of things from him in the past including a Little Samson cart and a Metal Warriors cart ,he seems to price things a little on the high side. But Jim who is the owner of the GameKing has been collecting and selling games for a long time so I'm thinking maybe that NWC cart could be legit. On the other hand he can be a complete butthole ,because the times I dealt with Jim the GameKing he seem to be a little hard to deal with and can be a little rude.I've never been to his Kentucky stores ,just talk and purchased things over the phone and via email.

  • Alas, updated!
  • Hey Diddles_Mcbean,

On Gameover opened a new location on Bay Area.
  • I'm pretty sure its called game again and not game mania.
  • Family Treasure Chest in Massachusetts in the only one in my town or around me. I never go there though.
  • New Las Vegas store just opened. Saw this on craiglist today http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/vgd/3862236312.html called Gamers Center

It's the store that was in the works for several months and is finally open! Yay, just down the road from me too   I believe this is owned by the Wii Play Games guys from the east side of Vegas.  Same color scheme in their ad and it's in the location that the owner told me they were opening a store this summer.
  • Here's Replays website that has their store listings scrolling at the bottom. I forgot they have ones in Columbus, MS, tons more in Alabama, and even one in Ohio.
