Dreamcast works on TV but Saturn doesn't

Both are composite. The Saturn works on a differetn TV so I know it is not the console or cable. The TV does not have a RCA input, I'm connecting them trough a reciever. Is there a scientific explanation? Thanks for the help.

    I don't think so. It works fine for everything else plugged into it, & like I said, the dreamcast works using the same ports as the ones I use for the saturn.
