Justifier repair

(If this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it)

Lately, my blue (thankfully not the pink one) Justifier has been getting moody, the start button always works, but lately it's been deciding not to register trigger pulls.  The trigger feels less springy than the pink Justifier, and the "click" isn't as loud.  (By not register, I mean the screen doesn't even flash.  It's not that it's "missing", it's not firing at all when it does this.)

Just based on the description, worth my time to disassemble it and try to fix it, or just buy another (since it's the inexpensive blue one)?

  • Just get a new one.
  • I just recently took apart my pink justifier as it had the same symptoms, everything seemed to be in order, but only the start button seems to work?
  • Well, I figured that even if I were to just replace it, I'd still be waiting on shipping, so I took it apart anyway. At first glance, all looked well, but upon closer inspection, a single wire from the trigger's actual button board had come loose of the solder joint on the main interior board.

One quick de-and-re-soldering later, and no more blanks in this gun, nothing in the cylinder now...

    Except justice!
  • Hmmm... Maybe I need to take mine apart again.
  • Couldn't hurt, I mean, what's the worst that can happen? It's already broken, after all, right?
