I have a ntsc snes and it only has the 1 chip is it still possible to do the mod or no?

Its been done before. Its not as simple as modifying an original snes, but its possible. Found this on google, if it helps.

Its okay I bought a older version with the 2chips and I did it on that one and it worked out great.
