More SNES Repro Help?

So, I decided to start with I was going to make a Repro of Digital Devil Story (Shin Megami Tensei)

I Patched the rom, removed the header and padded the file to 16mbit. Checked checksums with ucon64.

Tested it on an emulator and it ran fine.

I burned the rom. Ok. Verifyed the rom. Ok.

Soldered the tsop to the adapter board. added the legs, bridged r1 and r3... and the game won't boot in my SNES.

I'm using a modern Plasma, and when the snes gets turned on the "looking for signal" message goes away.

My donor was NHL 95. Should I use a different game?

I'm considering NBA Live 96 but that game has 2 Maskroms and I dont know if there is extra needed work.

(SMT is a slowrom game, and I used a fastrom donor. I dont know if that matters)

I know the SMT is a SlowROM game and my 29f016b chips are 90ns. Am I using chips that are running too fast?

Here is a picture

This is the 2nd time I've done this and same result. I threw away the first attempt.

EDIT***

Wow, I feel kinda dumb. NHL95 is only 8mbit. I'm assuming the game isn't addressing all 16mbits of my repro.

Can someone confirm this information for me? Thank you!

EDIT2***

So both NBA Live 95 and 96 are DIP32 games and not DIP36.

What would I do to the TSOP adapter to use it on a DIP32 pinout?

EDIT3***

The tsop adapter board is labeled U2... does that mean it has to go into a u2 slot?

EDIT4***

Looking at the NHL95 board closer It seems Pins 1,2,35, and 36 are not connected to a damn thing.

The physical holes are there. But they dont trace anywhere really. SHVC-1J3M-11

EDIT5***

Does LoROM and HiROM factor into this at all?

EDIT6***

I just tried putting the tsop into FIFA 97 and no difference.

EDIT7***

Well, no clue what I did too fix it but after 5 failed attempts I finally have my first working reproduction...

Wow... this was quite a trip!

Per the SNES Donor list, this would be your best chance of making the game (there are others, but I stick to what is known to work):
