Is there a master list of Genesis exclusive games?

I'm trying to find a list of Sega Genesis exlusives games or games that may have the same title but are significantly different like Sparkster. I figure it is kind of pointless to try and get genesis and snes games that are on both platforms.

    i think there might be something like this on sega-16.com. have you tried there? if it isn't there (or here on segaage), it should be. it would be a good list to have.

    I've heard Aladdin is significantly different.

    Several people (myself included) have made attempts to sort out the SNES vs. Genesis list, and identify the games that aren't really the same despite sharing a title (like Aladdin) or are better on one platform or the other. So far, it's been tough to get much momentum; the famous games are well-documented but some of the more obscure titles are practically ignored.



    I don't know about an exclusives list per se; it'd be nice if one exists already. A direct comparison of the systems' release lists would give you a start, but you have to be careful since sometimes the titles were different but the games were the same (e.g. Firepower 2000/Mega SWIV).

    You're welcome, I did a Google search for "list of sega genesis exclusives" and it was the first thing that came up. I am surprised no one else did it.

    It's a good start (and thanks to flatuswalrus for the link!), though it's definitely not complete. Off the top of my head, these are missing:



    Dinosaurs for Hire

    Earnest Evans (also on Sega CD)

    Fantasia

    Greendog (also on Game Gear)

    Sorcerer's Kingdom

    Trampoline Terror

    Warrior of Rome II



    And a bunch of sports games like ATP Tennis, Wimbledon, etc.
