I have a crappy deskjet printer so it would cost me a fortune in ink alone if I keep using it. The site makes you get a DC# for .18, and I usually don't get them except on higher priced items. It is pretty easy to use though. Plus they give you $5 worth of free postage to try it out. I shipped 2 games for free this morning so it is worth the few minutes to setup for that. They do charge a monthly fee, but I have 4 free weeks. I won't be using it very long though. The main reason I done it is because I am trying to get a free 360 from tvfreexbox.com. Have to do 9 offers and they supposedly send you a 360. I am doing all the ones with trail periods I can cancel and not spend any actually money. A little hassle, but might pay off in the end maybe....very low expectations.
I doubt it will work either, but who knows. I have enrolled in the stamps.com thing so far cause I wanted to try it out anyways. If says it takes a few days for the enrollments to show up on your account. If it actually shows up and gives me credit for it then I am going to slowly doing the other 8 transaction and see what happens. If nothing else I got to ship 2 games for free
They work.....at least offers by the company "trainn" work. I'm not sure about the others, but I imagine they work too. My brother (who is only 17) got loads of free shit by filling out these offers on debit gift cards that he bought from Heritages. You're supposed to fill out 1 offer yourself, and have 9 other people fill out offers. But he just did all 10 offers himself LOL and cancelled everything before he was charged.
Pretty risky though, especially if you give out your own credit or debit card. My brother did it on a debit gift card, which only had $25 on it to begin with.
Yeah, there was actually a writeup in EGM about that a year or two ago. They do work, but you've got to sign up to a bunch of different crap. As long as you cancel before the shit starts billing you, and sometimes it can be a hassle to do it. Enjoy the X-Box when you finally get it
I know people who bought a PS3 and it died in the same week they bought it, no joke. I also know people who are now on their 5th 360. They are both junk. I haven't heard of a single Wii breaking down though.
How can they expect to compete with PC gaming with this kind of track record? I thought the whole idea behind home game consoles surviving as the PC market evolved was the simplicity, reliability and ease of use. Sounds like they're striking out.
I'll just stick to my good old VCS I just plugged it into my new TV yesterday and played Space War with my friend for about an hour. We were hooting and hollering the whole time. Halo, fuck off
no where near true, lol. 360 is the worse so far, but the PS3 haven't been around to long yet. Sony products are famous for craping out right after the 1 year mark. Lord knows the PS2 did. So far the Wii has the lowest failure rate from any site I have seen and online polls, but only time will be the true test on these puppies. I will give Mircosoft credit though, they will replace the bad systems without much effort for anyone I have known that had one turd out.
Back somewhat on topic....my 1 offer (stamps.com) was approved on that site so I can now move on to the next one. Only 8 left. I also canceled my stamps.com trail today and it was surprising easy and they spoke English.
