SNES Repro Will Not Work
So I'm beating my head against a wall.
Had a friend of a friend in the UK ask for a EVO Search for Eden repro.
So after I had all my problems with making my first repro (SMT) I decided I would make a NTSC copy before trying to make a PAL copy and shipping just to find out it won't work. (I plan on using a Super CIC to make it region free and stuffing it into any old PAL SNES cart I can find.)
The game will not work in an actual cart. But plays 100% fine on an emulator.
Donors tested on: College Slam (Socketed: The one my SMT plays fine on) & NHL 98.
These seem to be a perfect match. I'm using a am29f016D.
My only thought is that the virgin rom is padded with 7 bytes when I first download it. I haven't found anywhere online that has an unpadded copy.
My process is simply:
I remove the header
Pad to 16mbit
Fix Checksums
Burn
I've tried burning directly to the Flash Memory then soldering to the board and I have also tried using my Willem to TSOP adapter from Retrohacker. It verifys 100%.
Any help here?

I don't think you guys should be witch burning this fast. If you have a problem with what he's doing, don't offer any help.

He did say he was intending to make a PAL cart, but is trying with an NTSC first. Didn't EVO only see a release in Japan and US?

I honestly always forget about PAL. Thanks for the clarification, I think you're right about the release locations.
After I make a working NTSC copy I plan on doing a CIC Mod on it so it will play over in the UK.

Thanks for sticking up for me some.
If I really wanted to lie I could HONESTLY fib and say I was making a repro of some random 16Mbit LoROM game.
I know that most people here are fine with making games for USA that weren't released here. What is wrong with me making a game for UK that wasn't released there?
EDIT:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E.V.O.:_Search_for_Eden
Release date(s)
JP December 21, 1992
NA July 1993
EDIT 2:
And here is my SMT inside of my College Slam. I'm using the same College Slam for testing EVO. I put a 40 pin socket inside of it so that way in 10 years I can reburn my games if Bit-Rot degregated them.
I admit I had alot of errors before I got SMT to work.

Keep up with it, you'll figure it out and then you can convert it. You're asking for help and you should either receive it or not, just not a debate.
