I got 26 of them, completely forgot games like Mario Party even existed, and spent too much time trying to get Donkey Kong for the GB Color to appear, then thought about that its a remake so its excluded. Also, while spending too much time on ones that wouldn't show up I forgot Mario RPG, what a ding-bat, I could've had at least 27, woop-de-doo, I suck at Mario trivia.
Here's what I did get:
1981 Donkey Kong Arcade 1983 Mario Bros. Arcade 1985 Super Mario Bros. NES 1985 Wrecking Crew NES 1986 Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka Lost Levels) NES (Japan) 1988 Super Mario Bros. 2 NES 1989 Super Mario Land GB 1990 Dr Mario NES/GB 1990 Super Mario Bros. 3 NES 1991 Super Mario World SNES 1991 NES Open Tournament Golf NES 1992 Yoshi NES 1992 Super Mario Kart SNES 1992 Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins GB 1992 Mario's Time Machine MS-DOS 1992 Mario is Missing! MS-DOS 1993 Yoshi's Cookie NES/SNES/GB 1995 Mario Tennis Virtual Boy 1995 Mario Clash Virtual Boy 1995 Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island SNES 1996 Super Mario 64 Nintendo 64 1997 Mario Kart 64 Nintendo 64 2000 Mario Tennis Nintendo 64 2002 Super Mario Sunshine Gamecube 2003 Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga GB Advance 2006 New Super Mario Bros. Nintendo DS
dammit, I typed NES open, nes open golf, but they wanted NES Open tournament golf. Mother fuckers. 34 for me, the rest I didn't get I had never heard of before.
Arent there some games missing, like donkey kong jr, and punch out?
Yeah, I thought so at first, but you gotta read it more carefully, it said only games with Mario in the title or as a playable character, he wasn't playable in either of those games, and certainly not in the title. I wasted a good minute and something on trying to enter in both of those games wondering why they weren't working before I went back up and read the rules carefully.
I got 34, wouldve really helped if I had remembered Mario Party 1-9. Then there were a few titles I knew of that I couldnt get right (ie Mario Strikers Charged and Mario Super Sluggers).
Comments
I don't understand how to enter the names, I type in a name, press enter, pressed several other buttons, game doesn't appear in table below.
Never mind, got it, I tend to always type out Super Mario Brothers, instead of Super Mario Bros.

Some beefs I had with the test:
-None of the Super Mario Advance titles were included
-Super Mario All-Stars or All-Stars/World wasn't included
-...........yet technicality games like NES Open Tournament Golf was included
-I missed all 3 Mario's Early Years titles because I forgot about them
-I didn't know any of the Game & Watch titles
Here's one for top-selling NES games. I got 12/15...but two of the three I missed were Famicom releases.

I think those are classified as remakes tho.
