yes, metal gear didnt come as a 5 screw, so you have a factory mismatch. all of the factory mismatches are stickerless on the back.

    Awesome.

    Add me to the list.

  • Nice. Two new to add on the same day. Keep them coming people. and sell me them. Haha.
  • Great finds, guys! I have these added to the list.

    Nice. I'm jealous.
  • anybody couldve gotten it, i saw it on ebay in a lot with a console and some other games. Only thing was i could see top label of game so i knew it was 3 screw and there was no picture of front label. I assumed (Correctly) that it was north american and not canadian because he didnt have any other canadian games in there. Sometimes its worth the risk, ive been tryin to hawk one of these for quite sometime.

But onto another recent find, which I can't seem to gather much information on. Ive come across only 1 of these in the past 25+ yrs

It's a full PCB board of Pinball w/ a famicom adapter inside. I weighed it on my scale and it felt real heavy in my hand. And i handle cartridges all the time. It was 4.7 oz

I took some pictures of it and will post in an hour or so, got some more refurbishing i need to get done here first.

I was going to save posting it until I got it framed, but I guess it's time to give the world what it wants, Stadeum Uhvents - 3 screw variant.

  • Here is the Pinball game i just last week came across. Any more information on this would be great, I also have some 52 in 1 activision game i got a month ago, but thats for another time.

Its an early release cart with a Famicom convertor built in. Nintendo didnt have enough 72 pin boards made in time so they took 60 pin boards and put a convertor on it and shoved it in the NES cart. Nothing too rare though.
  • put me down for my 3rd donkey kong 3 screw

I just keep coming across them

Hey Andy this arrived in the mail To me from Fpanichi's na auction.
  • Oh and I also won a 5 screw Megaman from eBay recently if you want to add me to the list of that one too.
  • I just picked up a Kid Niki that looked neat. At first I assumed it was sun-faded. But there's just no damage to the other art elements in this spot. The top label text is GONE, and the pink fades out. It looks to me like they were running out of red ink right around when mine came off the press and it still somehow passed QC even without the gold text on the top label. It looks like a factory screwup?

    I'm no expert, though. Thoughts?

That was what I thought at first but, if it's faded. why such an uneven way?

I mean, why does the "fade" go right through the logos without affecting them?

EDIT: Phrased that wrong. I'm ENTIRELY ready to accept this is a sun-faded dirt-common 3-screw Kid Niki. I was just hopeful lol

And another edit for typos.. I should probably sleep.

I have a bases loaded cart where the title on the end label is completely gone.  Back then I too debated sun fading or what.  I also just picked up a dr. Mario and can't tell if it is the white end label variant or a sun faded yellow variant.
  • looks like some liquid damage to me the areas where the damage comes into contact with the other label elements are either black or near white looks like the last 'nt' in entertainment is effected as well

I don't know if this belongs here, but way back in 07 I remember making a topic about this here. Everyone was saying it's some kind of misalignment. Hell it looks 3D.

Somebody messaged me a year later or so asking me for pictures to be featured in the e-zine or whatever it's called here on NA

Long story short, weird Golf NES label.
  • nice silk screen misalignment i believe its known as "rainbow pixel golf" on this list mind if i use it for my list
  • Sure. I'll scan a better picture of it in a bit.

I love how TC spelled my name too

    Here's the label scanned image
