I have used information from other posts to add set owners to this list. If you do not have the set anymore, post here and I will remove you from the list.
  • We really need an icon for this!

We sure do. It's hard enough to complete the set. Took me over a year to get 2009.
  • I got a complete set. Also got a spare 2011 cart.

You've been added to the list.
  • nice job Jon! seems like a very hard mission to get all these now.
  • I would love to buy one of the 8-bit or 16-bit XMAS if anyone is selling for a reasonable price.
  • lots of sex-mas going on in this thread!
  • Hot dang I'm a proud papa...

Also, I did not mean the "HEROES" to look like it was scrawled by a serial killer.

Thank you to everyone who has made this happen.

I'll have to ask Shane if I can do an 8-bit Xmas Expose' in on of the up-in-coming E-Zines!
  • Lookin good Santa! I'm glad we could both complete our sets on the same day!
  • when will 8-bit XMAS 2013 come out, and where? RetroZone?
  • Your overlords were just playing previous years. When not drunk the NES 2011 was still the best game. How bad would it be if this year's NES game was single player only? SNES might have to be another port.

    2013 Reindeer Hunter?

Zapper or optional controller with crosshairs for non tube gamers.
  • thats a cool looking interesting set there ....

whats the story behind them ...???
  • Every year a new cart is available at retrousb.com, but they stop selling them after the 31st. So 2008 is a 'holy grail' of sorts for repro collectors. I remember paying around 250 for it and have seen people pay past 500. It's a fun little set and I will be adding two new carts to mine every winter!
  • Here is my games. All bought by me from Retrousb except 2008. Got that from Nesguy about 2 years ago.

Don't know why I have not bought boxes for 2012 games yet:

  • Bonus points to the first person to post them all in action....go!
  • What are these?

    Fixed.
  • How much are these going for now ? any idea on current prices at all ?

    2008 - $400+

    2009 - $300

    2010 - $200

    2011 - $125

    2012 - $75

I know they have sold for different prices, but this is what one should expect to pay or receive.
  • How much are the SNES-versions worth at this point?
  • i got me the NES 2012 edition i love puttin it on display for the holidays looking forward for the new one this year

    And the best Card too!

  • But what's the best game when you ARE drunk?

If you guys come up with an icon for this set now that I've sold two of mine, I'm going to ACTUALLY make a serial killer "Heroes" list.
  • Thanks Jon Solo - lol.

I don't think there is the same demand for the 16 bit carts
  • Thought I'd post up pics of my Christmas cart set, which I posted in a thread last year.

Also have the ASMRetro Christmas 2012 gameboy cart, #3, that I got later, not pictured

  • Im not a homebrew kind of guy ... but damn, if I was I would be thoroughly jealous of that set you have JD. That looks fantastic. Im expecting Santa to come in here and start panting.
