Package received but I got my contents stolen
I received one of my packges today from eBay. I had bought 5 Sega Saturn games. The shipping weight is 2lbs and 13 ozs which would be the correct weight for 5 Saturn games.
However, there are two stickers on the package from the post office on the package. (one says Received Unsealed at XXXXX (my area code) and the other one says Received without Contents at XXXXX)
I emailed the eBay seller stating what happened and said it wasn't their fault. I know they sent the package with the contents because of the weight.
I could provide pictures of the package if you guys need to see it.
Can anybody tell me on what I should do on this situation and/or give me some advice!!
Thank you, SegaAge! You guys rock!

If it is the latter, then definitely contact the post office and tell them something shady is going on.
I had two packages arrive yesterday. One package was common Saturn games and the other one was rare Saturn games. I'm just thankful that my box of common/worth nothing Sega Saturn games got stolen instead of my rare/worth some money games.

You should maybe call the post office and find out what it means. If it got opened halfway to you then someone took the stuff. Did they send it media mail?
I could see why this would have happened if it was media mail. However, it was sent parcel select.
Either way, i'm sorry to hear this happened, that's really got to be an awful feeling and I hope it works out in the best way it can.
Here's a somewhat related story on my behalf. I sold a GBA game on ebay to a guy, he decided to return it for a full refund. He sent it back with delivery confirmation and told me when he sent it. A week or two goes buy and I had completely forgotten about it because nothing ever arrived at my PO box. The guy then sends me an email saying the package was delivered and wanted to know why it's taking me so long to refund him.
I checked the DC number, and sure enough it was showing delivered to my PO box at around 0830, which is a time that I would never be at the post office to begin with. I asked the mail clerk if there happened to be a mistake and they forgot to leave me a notice or had it lying around & it was nowhere to be found, so I was just shit out of luck. It was pretty obvious they put it in the wrong box. Being that the DC was showing delivered I had no choice but to refund him his cash since all the evidence pointed to me lying about the whole thing.
Around 2 weeks later the game shows up in my mailbox. The envelope is torn open and resealed, and has a "received damaged" stamp on it from the post office. Clearly whoever it was delivered to opened it, saw what it was, then decided to return it to the post office later on (which is cool to know there's still honest people around). I thought that was a bit shady to mark it as being damaged in transit when that plainly wasn't the case.
All in all, the person printed there own label and could have put that incorrect weight. Who knows. I don't really care as much because they were very common games. I'm getting my money refunded.
I wish buyers were more like you. On one of my most recent sales the package got stolen and the buyer left me negative feedback that I scammed him despite the tracking info I provided. I'm glad some people out there can think!
Thank you. The world is a tough place and I try to treat others with respect. shit happens, ya know?
