I know this is nothing new,

But I just picked up 20 Rechargeable coin cell battereies for my DreamCast VMU's as well as a recharger and a few battery holders (for the DreamCast console itself) I'll let you know how it works out, but here's what I got.





The Batteries:

The Battery is the same model that is in the DreamCast from stock, just without the solder tabs, so using the Holders I can then swap them in and out whenever they no longer hold a charge very easily!



Once they arrive, I'll do a write up and let you know how long the batteries last in the VMU's

    Sounds like a good idea, I look forward to hearing the results. The 2x CR2032s do last a reasonable amount of time though (10 hours of straight play?) right?

    Last time I put batteries in a VMU, it died in like 30 minutes. Well, it felt like that. Those things eat up batteries fast. Maybe I never actually turned them off... Is there a button for that?
