I got my sealed Hot Slots off of a guy GameTZ . That was the only time I've ever used it, though. It was a little scary buying something of such value off of a guy from a site/forum I wasn't a part of, but it all worked out in the end. AND it was a Money Order. Probably the riskiest thing I've ever done.

A lot with 50 games including all 6 Mega Mans and many great games like Bubble Bobble, Metroid, Contra, Super C, and lots of classics with a Top Loader NES a SNES Mini and some SNES games including Final Fantasy 3, Super Metroid, Megaman 7, Contra 3, Turtles 4 and 6 other games for $200 for the whole lot.
About 30 boxed NES games for $5 a piece from a local game store.
Let's see here... The best deal I could've had, but was too young to know any better at the time (even though I had the money in my pocket for it) was a gray NWC for $5 at the flea market in Dalton, GA, back in the summer of '91 or '92. Some deals I've found over the years:
1. Sega Master System, 22 games (all but one in original cases, 13 of them had manuals), 3D glasses, hookups, 2-3 controllers (I forget how many controllers for sure)... One of the 22 games just so happened to be James "Buster" Douglas Knockout Boxing, with original case. That bundle, plus two 3DOs (systems only...I figured eh, what the heck?) and 17 fairly common NES games (I think the rarest of the bunch was Silent Assault). My cost? $55 for the whole lot. Buster Douglas came out of that bundle, and went into a deal for...
2. ...Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak, NES (cart only, not-so-good label), plus one other game, for Buster Douglas Boxing and Mega Man X3 SNES.
3. 24 boxed or complete primarily common to scarce NES games, as part of a large lot, for $40. As it turns out, those weren't the only boxed NES games I ran across that day...I had bought another 10, plus 4 loose carts, from another guy for $35 (one of them was Magician CIB w/everything).
4. Sega Master System CIB, Light Phaser, Hang On/Safari Hunt pack-in, for $20.
5. SNES w/7 loose carts, including Super Mario All-Stars and Secret of Mana, for $20.
6. Final Fantasy, NES, factory-sealed (yes, legit), for $18.xx shipped off eBay (it was a few years back, 2004, if I recall correctly). Ended up selling it .
7. Final Fantasy III, SNES, loose, for $1.50 (at GameStop...lol).
8. Panzer Dragoon Saga, Saturn, complete and super-mint, for $110 shipped. Some months later, picked up a complete Shining Force III from the same guy for $40 shipped (slimshadow at TGN).
9. A trade, his Levinson electric guitar (last one that sold at eBay went for $1750 Australian + shipping) for my complete Grandia (PS1).
10. A large lot of super-mint PS1 strategy guides (35 total), not the least of which were guides for Alundra, Alundra 2, Breath of Fire IV, Chrono Cross, Dragon Warrior VII, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy Tactics (original version), Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Mana, Suikoden II, Tactics Ogre, Tales of Destiny II, Vandal Hearts II, and Xenogears, for $175.
11. A boxed Atari 2600 (lite-sixer), w/9 games, hookups, 2 joystick controllers, and 1 set of paddles, for $5.
12. A brand-new top-loader NES for $50 (back when they were retailing for that...does that count?),

Heck, if I had known what games were on it, I probably would have bought it...I was a big Super Mario Bros. and Tetris fan back then (still am a fan of Tetris to this day).

If the NWC was at a flea market then it's more than likely in some collector's hands somewhere. Just not your hands unfortunately.

Heh, yeah, it did. It was weird. As far as I remember, the guy didn't know how to speak English very well (well, at least he couldn't type very well), and he kept saying that the game wasn't sealed but was "still in its original packaging." Well, I got it and it was sealed, with a small rip in the cellophane, but how many sealed Panesians are out there anyways? The seal past the "Bronty Seal of Approval" too, because after I got it, he and I compared our sealed Panesians and the cellophane both looked the same (shitty)

Have not received yet (but just bought so it is understandable) - Mario's Time Machine with Box for $26.49. I hope that box looks as minty as in the picture Item number 280133165305 for you ebay people.
I just won a "controllers lot" and the seller said they'd just "throw in" an old top loader. Got it for $14 shipped and it came with 4 controllers, a top loader, an rf unit and an smb/dh cart.
If you look hard enough (and it doesn't take much), you can find amazing deals. That lot was listed as being "nintendo controllers" -- it was only in the description that he mentioned the top-loader. Anyone who has searched for controllers knows that there are tons of 3rd-party items that get in the way of finding the good stuff. I've created lots of filtered searches that weeds out all the keywords combinations of those sellers. What you're left with is a small amount of fleamarket-style listings. Good stuff!
I won a auction for a snes and 30 games. when the packages arrived there was close to 50 games in the box. very nice susprise. also won a intellivision lot of 2 boxed systems and 26 boxed games for 13.00 dollars
Okay well here are some of my best finds over the past two years of buying and selling NES stuff. Okay, one time I bought a factory sealed Zelda 2 (classic series) for only $6 at a flea market, and sold it on ebay for only $50, but still not a bad price.
Super mario 64 factory sealed for $10 at a garage sale.
Last week, flea market, bought about 13 games for $3 each, some highlights of those were: two copies of Tyson punch out, two of castlevania 3, 2 copies of super mario 2, mega man 1, dragon warrior 2, super c, donkey kong classics, and a few more.
Ebay find about a month ago: Mega man 6 factory sealed, plus complete action set, complete game genie with box, and about 25 more games for $100 shipped.
Somebody local sold me a huge box of SNES and NES stuff for $50. Said they had super mario RPG, but as I dug in the box, I found the manual and box for the game, and sold that on ebay for $60 by itself. The rest of the stuff sold for over $100.
Found another person local sold me a bunch of games with a system for only $25, probably one of the best working original NES systems I've ever come across, plus castlevania 1 2 and 3 all complete, and zelda 1 and 2 best condition gold carts I've ever seen with maps and manuals.
There are probably a few more but that is all I can remember right now, those were the good ones.
i'm still pretty new to collecting, so i haven't started ebaying yet, or found anything that impressive. my coolest find though not really a find since it was given to me was......... the drummer from my old band saw i was into nes and old video games and said he had some games i could have if i want. i said sure, and next band practice he brought me over a black trash bag fileed with.......
1 nes toaster system all hookups 2 controllers 1 light gun and about 25 games, some pretty descent titles, punchout etc....

i offered him money but he wouldn't take it. this has happened with a bunch of my friends, this being the biggest find. they seem to just want to give me their old games because they know i'm into it, and they could care less about it, because its old. i've tried to offer a few of them money for this stuff, but they just see it as junk i guess, and know i'm into it. not that i'm complaining.
In the last two days I've had two very good finds:
1) Bought a N64 w/ 8 games, and a SNES w/ 9 games for $50 from some local guy. Many good selling games were included such as the Mario Party games for N64. Mario Party 3 was included but had stickers all over it. When I took them off, I found out that it was the NFR kiosk version! That was a nice little surprise!
2) This just came in today: 50 boxed NES games for $150. Some of the better titles include Donkey Kong Jr. Math, Clu Clu Land, Blues Brothers, Wizardry 2, and many others. All the boxes are in very good condition, but no manuals. The Donkey Kong Jr. Math box is practically mint.

Yeah. I got lucky. It's not often you can get a good score on eBay anymore.
I managed to get my hands on a second new Beeshu Gizmo for NES for a little over $30 shipped about a week or two ago!! It's completely mint, and is replacing my other one (which I'll probably auction sometime in late August/September when I'm back from Berlin).
I went to this local flea market/ antique mall and saw a dealer closing their booth..
everything was 75% off.
I got: Tiles of Fate (sealed) Family Fun Fitness (still with shrinkwrap but opened) 2 brand new Atari 2600 paddles 1 atari joystick repair kit and a NES/SNES/Genesis Video Game Organizer (never opened)

About 5 years ago now, I stumbled across a toploader NES for $2 at a garage sale. No other deal I've gotten has come close to that.
