10/4 update: Gamecube binders

In my original thread, I mentioned I came across Gamecube disc binders. It was not for sale then when I saw it, but today I picked up 2 for $2 total. Pretty sweet. Check them out:

I've added my caseless discs to one and the other is unfilled. This will be perfect to store all the discs I find without cases. And they're officially licensed and awesome.

  • I've been playing mario power tennis a lot. It's kind of an amazing game. My first mario tennis experience was on the Virtual Boy, and oh goodness it's been improved!
  • Congratz on finding some cool stuff

Does anybody else get a Hellriser kinda vibe from the title?

I finally added an Indigo controller to my Gamecube collection. I hadn't had one ever before.

I also picked up Starfox Adventures and Mario Party 4 for $1 each!

I also picked up a second copy of Pikmin 1 (black label) for $5.25. So now I have both regular and player's choice.

I also played through Metroid Prime. That was fun.

Now, for the sake of collecting, I came across something interesting: large Gamecube cooler-sized backpacks that hold the console and other stuff. They appear to be made by Nintendo. Does anyone know about these? Were they officially licensed?

On that note: I also came across a disc binder with a Gamecube logo on it. Was this also a Nintendo licensed product.

Wow! It's been a long time. I have even more Gamecube things to tell you about and for us to all talk about. But I will hold off for now.

Did I hear my name?!?!? Oh wait.... nevermind.

Anyway, fun times. I haven't played through Starfox Adventures completely so maybe I should try to before GTA V drops.
  • I wondered what happened to you, had been quiet around here. I guess school started back up?

Meh, not my business is he was banned or not :/. Good to have you back, BaG! This place was really empty with ya gone...
  • If your "cooler backpack" is black with a grey/silver face, it was made by ALS Industries around 2002 and is licensed. They made a whole line of similar looking bags for the cube and GameBoy Advance for Nintendo.
  • the disk binder is official not sure about the backpack but chances are it's official if it has the logo on it
  • I too wondered where you've been. Welcome back! Don't tell me how Metroid Prime ends--I'm still working on it

It appears that only his avatar got banned

But anyway, I recently got one of those Gamecube disc binders in a craiglist bundle and I think it's really awesome. I just wanna fill it with adorable little GC discs, clip it to a belt loop, and impress all of the ladies at the gym.

  • I have that backpack and its awesome. I actually keep systems in there too. Sweet finds. Nothin' better than slow and steady
  • Updated with cool purchase today and picture. Check out the binders
  • Come on, these are great. Where's the love?
  • Do you guys like those binders? I like all my GC games in case. I actually threw away like 3 of those a week back.
  • I like them only because 1) they're official Nintendo and 2) they're a safe place to keep all my disc only Gamecube games that I pick up.
