Atari/Colecovision Score

A guy on CL was selling an atari and colecovision and some games and other misc stuff.  He said he hadn't tested anything so he didn't know if it worked or not.  He said to make an offer.  When I got there it was two decent sized boxes overflowing with stuff.

  • Love this stuff! Is that Tutankhamen cart the 2600 or the coleco version?
  • Tut is for the coleco.

Everything I have tried so far works great but I haven't tried the roller ball and the 2600 is missing the AC apater.
  • 30 bucks for all that is pretty awesome. I also have Tutankham for the Colecovision. An uncommon game for sure especially if you happen to find the box
  • Anybody have any idea on what it might be worth? Pricecharting seems to not be very accurate when it comes to stuff this old.
  • I don't have a clue about pricing it, but for $30, you did rather good. You might have to spend time researching sold listings on ebay or find yourself an internet dweeb apraiser.
  • I looked up some of the games on ebay but there aren't too many sold listings lately and what there is is all over the place.
  • I'd ask the people over at Atariage.
  • I'd venture around $150-$200 for value, nothing particularly rare or expense but there is a lot of bulk.
  • Wow thats some amazing finds! someday i hope to find colecovision stuff on CL but it doesn't show up very often
  • I see especially with Colecovision that everything except for the common 30% titles are just not coming up for sale or just very infrequently. That makes putting a fair price on something rather difficult. No matter what you can't go wrong with 30$ on all that. If the Coleco is clean and works perfect you can get most your money back just with the system
  • Nice find on the Colecovision, it's my favorite console from that era. Zaxxon is really close to the arcade. Tip: the CV controllers are shit. The super action controllers are better put painful to use. Connect a Super action to player 2 and a genesis or master system controller to player 1. Use the keypad on the SA to start the game and use the genesis controller. I have an epyx atari joystick I like to use.

My favorite title is Space Panic, it's an awesome game, kinda like Lode Runner. A few others: Tarzan, Pitstop, Wing War and of course... Smurf! There's a war game that's like Ikari warriors for the SA controllers, called Front Line.

Edit: Oh man, I just noticed you have all the hardware manuals! I have a few of those, sweet deal.
  • Also, I've done the Ben Heck AV mod on a few Colecos, works awesome and super easy: http://benheck.com/Games/Coleco/Video_Mod.htm

Cool thanks a ton.  One of the cv controllers wont respond to down on the stick.  I was going to open it up and clean it out.

Ill keep an eye out for those games too.
