FINALLY an excellent Goodwill find in southern AZ

Stumbled across this set at a Goodwill I have never once found anything good at. I actually wasn't even going to stop, but I had 5 mins to kill so I figured why not. Although the controllers and systems have seen better days, $150 was a great price for everything!

Shit, I'm surprised they didn't put it on their website, so I'm lucky to get it for that...
  • I didn't mean it to sound like I was disparaging the find itself. Rather there doesn't seem to ever be middle ground like that on Goodwills. they either have no clue what they have and you get it for a quarter or it goes to the site where people pay well over Ebay prices PLUS ridiculous shipping prices ontop of it.
  • nice im jelly of that dream land three it is eluding me.

was it all priced as a lot at good will or did everthing individualy ad up to 150?

    either way sweet score man
  • If they were all individually priced then it comes down to around 4 bucks a game plus a little under 20 bucks each for the systems. I don't know much about Goodwills since I don't live in North America but from what I've heard that's not unusual pricing for Goodwills

Yeah, I didn't have a choice. They sold the systems together with all the games.
  • I very rarely even walk in to a goodwill anymore. Around Chicago, because the flea markets/garage sales only exist for a quarter of the year due to cold, 95% of game collectors ravage thrift stores for finds. It just doesn't sound appealing to me to show up at a Goodwill an hour before it opens to possibly find something before everybody else. On top of that, most of the Goodwill and Salvation Army stores around here have gotten wise to game collecting, and tend to price the stuff at ebay prices. Whenever I do go in I usually see 20-30 sports titles at about $5 each, as well as maybe a copy of a Zelda or Mario game priced between $20-$40.
