So increcdible aggravating!
Recently i sold a NES + games bundle to a woman. I sent it with cash-on-delivery (you pay when you pick up the package at the post office). Today the package was returned due to its been laying at the post office for 14 days. This means that i have to pay shipping both ways, and that is a total of $50 ($51.39 to be exact according to xe.com).
During the last week i've sent several of SMS to the buyer, she said she pick it up on friday (last friday), but that didnt happend. After that i sent more SMS and got no reply. I called her with a hidden number and she picked it up. She seemed very eager to finish the conversation and she said she pick it up yesterday (wedensday).
But no, that didnt happend. I've sent her several of SMS, called like 10 times today, no reply at all. This bitch is sick! Its so incredible aggravating to ignore messages like this (those i sent with SMS). I would be much more at ease if i atleast got some contact with some lame excuses. I've been so pissed the last couple of day. Last night i could hardly sleep, seriously, i was so fucking pissed!
Worse part is that i really cant do shit. She lives about 1 hour drive from me and i seriously thought of driving down there just to pick up the money. Its not really about the money tho, its the principle, that she ignores me, probly laughing and smiling, dont care a shit about others! Fucking annoying!!!
I've checked alittle around and she got 5 kids (now, you might think that this is why she didnt pick it up, because she couldnt afford it, which might be the reason, but god damn, you dont order anything then and let other cover the expences), all got strange names so i guess shes a gipsy or something. I'm not racist, but gipsys (if this is the case) got a bad reputation on them for stealing etc. I also mention this because if i drive down there who knows what will meet me. I'm not going to risk a beating from a group of gipsys for $50 altho the chances are very small for that.
My mom works for the postal system so we will send a letter with official postal papers etc. saying that she needs to pay. I doubt anything will happend tho, but its worth a shot. Its so fucking aggravating and annyoing this shit!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think i will wait like 2 weeks or so, then call her. Then she might have sorta forgotten about it and when the phone calls she doesnt think about it and answers it. I will still concider visiting her and bring along a friend or two, but to drive down there, that will probly cost me like $20 in expences (road fees, gas etc.). As said, its mostly a principal thingie, but i wont go through fire when its "only" about $50. We'll see what happends. I'll post if anything big happends.
e- bay should just charge your paypal account or credit card that they have on file after winning an auction.... this would eliminate NPB's and alot of riff raff from e-bay...
Thats what I always thought, only problem is those that pay by check or money order. guess they could have some kind of instant payment option.
Ive been hosed on ebay several times. I get upset when some buys something then sends a email simply saying something to the effect im not buying this to bad.
Ive seen it happen from the other side. A guy I know was one of those that got carried away on ebay buying cereal toys he ending up in way over his head and the buyers ended up getting hosed because he didnt have the money.
In recent times, I had a bunch of ebay sales with terrible buyers (very slow in their responses, payment not showing up for weeks, etc). I've never had to use ebay's Dispute Console that much before.
