I was pretty pumped to score a Starfox Competition Cartridge off of Craigslist today. Paid $300 and I'm completely okay with that! I'll post pictures soon

It probably is real but its a good idea to be cautious.......Once I responded to an ad over CL about Earthbound snes I was totally okay paying 150$....I told the guy though that I was gonna take it apart look at the contacts and put it in my supaboy (don't buy a supaboy by the way it sucks long story).....Well he agreed to 150$ but after I told him what I was gonna do (take it apart) he never emailed back so go figure.
If you're showing up to buy a game that's 100$+ (hell maybe even 50$+)... and you don't have a bit-screwdriver to open it and up examine the board to ensure it's real, then you deserve to be scammed imo. There's absolutely no reason to roll the dice in this day and age with all the fakes/repros out there.
I have a pretty trained eye when it comes to SNES labels and even I wouldn't trust my gut on that sort of thing: always pop it open and look at the board inside so you know what you're paying for.
If it's the real deal, that's a solid buy for 300$ for sure btw!
i would also add on a game worth over a 100 or so i would def want to pop it in a system as well as looking at the board just to rule out the old board switcharoo
