Multiple Quotes Tutorial
I see it a lot, with newcomers to the site and from those who aren't webform-savy. It's cool though, I'm gonna attempt a little tutorial here. I see it mentioned on how to do it, but for you visual learners out there, maybe this will help a little better.
Consolidating your quotes makes things simpler-- everything is neat into one little post, and you save the thread from spamming unnecessary bumps. (This will also save you if you have an auction set up, this is make the unnecessary bumpage toned down a little bit.)
Keep in mind, that this tutorial is for PC-only. The same basic idea might work for cell phones and tablets (or whatever else you dang kids use), but what I'm showing is for the PC.
We ready to begin? Let's start off with two dudes: Kevin and Bounce. You see two posts here:

Let's quote both of them. Now, the idea is to quote them both in ONE form, not one at a time. Choose whoever you want to quote first (In this case I'm choosing Kevin) and click on the "Quote" link in the upper right-hand corner of his post.

This'll open up a form that qotes what he said. Simply type the message you want to ask to him here.

Now you see that little button on the top left part of the forum labeled "Source"? Click it.

This will now show you the basic code for the form you've just typed on. Hightlight the entire text, and cut or copy it.
Note: If you get an error saying "Your browser security settings don't permit the editor to automatically execute cutting operations" don't worry. Simply hold down the CTRL key and press the X key to cut, or hold down the CTRL key and press C to copy. After you've copied or cut your text, close the form. Yes, CLOSE IT. You won't be needing it anymore.

Now you find Bounce. Open his form the same way and repeat the process, except we're gonna be pasting instead of copying. Click "Quote", and type in what you wanna say to him.

Click "Source" again, but this time PASTE what you have copied in either before or after the source text. Again, if you have an error pasting, just hold down the CTRL key and press the V key.

Click "Source" again to check your work before hitting reply. If you've messed up, just close the form, and start over.

If everything looks good, hit "Reply". Congratulations! You've successfully quoted two dudes all in one form. Now you're part of the "Cool-Club"! The mods won't get mad at you, your mom won't get mad at you, your wife will love you again... so overall.... everything's gonna be okay from now on!
If you guys have any questions, feel free to post and ask! Hope this was helpful!

Now...how do you hack into dra600n's account and post as him? Is that gonna be in the 2nd tutorial?

That's true!

You can use the exact same process and skip the parts where you hit the "source" button and it'll work too.
That's also true!
Test run successful

Interesting, I had a problem doing that a while back, and it never worked (maybe it was just me, lo), so I just copied the source. Now for some reason, that works! 0_o
I guess if the copy/paste don't work, the source process would be the next best thing.

Finally! Thank you! I have asked people how to do this ~5 times, and no one ever answered. Thanks for taking the time to save my relationships!

Thaaaaatttt.... is a well kept secret! ;P
(Actually, it's just a Photoshop edit!)

Someone tricked me with "if you type your NintendoAge password in a post, it will show up masked. Watch! My password is ************** (it only masks it when it's posted, not while you're typing)"
And next thing you know, bounce is creating transaction from me to him, with "My love to you for free"
And bounce, thanks for taking the time to write this up!

I can't take all the credit, mouser had said/done something similar to that, if not that exact thing. I just posted it

Great, now the mods are gonna keep a real good eye on our transactions.
Well, Bounce, apparently you made this thread just for me. Maybe I was the last NA member to not know how to multi-quote. I hope you know your efforts are appreciated!
Can't believe I never knew this thread existed. Its sure been a struggle all these
Hey man, no problem! And thanks! Glad I can help out.
years
And, Bert, what did you do!?
nothing at all
What is this madness???

What is this madness???
Ha! It works when I'm editing but not when I post.
