Nice Craigslist deal

So, I was browsing Craigslist today and found an ad for some Nintendo games, Atari system and games, and pictures of all the stuff. Something in particular caught my eye and, if for basically nothing else, I had to call for this. Although I didnt call for four hours past the ad posting, she still had not sold the items, and this is what I netted for $60.

Here is a Sears Video Arcade II with a number of games, nothing rare, Snoopy and the Red Baron which is kind of cool, some paddles, Night Stalker in the box(common), among others.

And now for the highlight of the pickup, some Nintendo goodies. I managed to grab a NES Top Loader, 3 regular Nintendos, and some decent games. Also included were a dogbone controller, two NES Maxs, and some regular controllers. Nothing too snazzy as far as games are concerned, but I did get Contra, Mario 3, and some games such as Gilligans Island, Tetris, and Spiritual Warfare with their respective manuals.

All in all? Not a bad find for $60, though most of this, if not all, will be up for grabs - I really want to expand my Saturn collection! Ill update my FS thread later this week to incorporate these findings.

  • Wish I would've stumbled upon that. I rarely find good video game deals on CL. You'll be able to make your money back just on the NES top loader.
  • A nes system with mario 1, 2, 3 can fetch a 100.00 alone nice pick up.
  • You can always fine good deals over craigslist...On average I get 2 lots off of there a week. I mean most people are stupidly priced but put an ad saying you want games....Yeah 80% of the people who respond will have crap you don't want or want dumb prices. But I've made hundreds of good deals there. The other month some guy sold me for 35$ n64 console nes unit and games for 35$...He had bad fur day Mario 64 mega man 1 nes 2 Zelda's and and like 10 other nes n64 games I forget what titles
  • The best bit was the story she gave me. Her kids used to play these consoles when they were younger minimally, grew out of them, then she stashed them in the attic and hadnt touched them since. The condition of these consoles show, as they're in great shape - I may luck out and have three box NES consoles with good 72 pin connectors
  • Why is everything awesome in North Carolina...? nice finds
