On the other hand, if the best games on the Wii U are HD remakes...
They aren't.
The Wonderful 101, New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, LEGO City Undercover, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Game & Wario, New Super Luigi U, Bayonetta 2, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Sonic: Lost World say hi.
I found an estate sale listing that included a Pac-Man Coleco Arcade toy in among the various pictures. I'm pretty nostalgic for the Pac-Man game so I got there at the start and snagged it and an incomplete Donkey Kong for $40. Unfortunately, both machines are pretty worn down and are having trouble powering on.
Just relized I forgot to post my finds from PRGE this year. Picked up a few Gameboy games I needed, and a couple NES boxes including Kid ICarus which I have owned the game for 7 year but never found the box hah. Also Pat hooked me up with a free DVD set, thanks bro! One more thing will be coming in the mail but that will require a seperate thread!
I got my boxed NES action set from Savers here in southern Idaho. The box is in really good condition. I paid...ready?....$15.00, yes fifteen bucks! I caught an employee hiding some of the retro video game donations from customers and his fellow employees so he hooked me up with this for $15, I never suggested the price-he came up with it himself and I said okay. P.s., seems there is already a thread relating to finds somewhere here.
Picked up Kagero Deception II for PS1 for 95 cents at Goodwill. Actually hadn't heard of it, seems like an interesting game (and definitely worth a shot for that price!).

The only logical course of action now is to keep hitting up that guy for more payoffs to keep your silence. Bonus points if you dress up like a '30s mobster.
"Say, that's a nice pile of Nintendo you got back there. Be a real shame if all the resellers in Idaho heard about it...."

Hahaha, that would be funny to come in there like a mobster but I don't think he works there anymore. I've only seen him that one time. He probably got fired. All those big chain thrift stores have shaddy characters who get first crack at video game related donations. I suppose if I worked there, I would probably be doing the same and someone else would be posting shit about me on forums like this.
The first finds video after the milestone and again it's filled with amazing retro video games! Also contains my finds from the retro convention in Elst (NL)
Stopped at Salvation Army, the one where i've never found anything gaming related before, and I see they've expanded the store and completely re-arranged the shop. Found a couple mint Gamecube controllers for $5 each, grabbed those. Then at the register I saw they had a basket of games, asked to take a look and got a nice Mario Party 7 and Wave Race for $5 each.
Pretty much bought them just to re-sell or trade, so I guess i'm officially off the list of people allowed to complain about dirty re-sellers
Picked up Ni No Kuni Wizard's addition. It is 100% complete, codes never used and everything inside the box was sealed except the game. Mint perfect shape and paid $204.40 with free shipping. The box is smaller then I imagined but I really wanted this from the start. Yes, this one is the North American released one too! It looks awesome on the shelf.
I haven't really been looking lately so I was pretty excited to find Some SNES games today at the thrift store that usually has nothing. I only go to this thrift store since it is in the same strip as Hap Ki Do class. Picked them up for $3 for the lot.
I managed to snag a CIB copy of Puzzler World 2 on the DS, for only $18.49. I'm extremely happy to have knocked another big one off of my "To Get" DS games list. I was not looking forward to paying $40+ for this one.
The price is high, but nothing beats these display cases. This is my second one (first one was given to me free with Kid Dracula) and i couldnt wait to pop my FS Super Metroid in there when it came in today.
