Mario Lemieux Big Box Hang-Tab Question

Hey all, I finally managed to grab a copy of Mario Lemieux Hockey containing the hockey puck.



It is a little bit odd because the hang-tab on the clamshell prevents the actual cardboard box from closing. I could bend the hangtab down, but right now its nice and stiff sticking up. Nothing indicates that it was ever in a more downward position.

For others that own this CIB, what is the hangtab situation like. I don't expect it would poke out of the box, but does yours even have a hangtab? Is it a smooth across case like Altered Beast?

    Do you fold it down to get the cardboard box to close?

    My inside copy of Mario Lemieux is sealed and the hangtab is folded down. Box closes fine that way.

    its just odd. i mean the hang-tab is stiff. even if I bend it down and close the cardboard box the cardboard starts to pop up. i'm sure if I really bend the hangtab a lot it will close, but i doubt it would have been like that new

    Maybe somebody swapped cases on you? I know I've done that several times myself and I'm sure everyone else here has done it too.

    yeah, if anyone can take a pic of their hangtab though i'd appreciate it. it would make sense the case was swapped, but maybe i need to get different case from this one. this thing does not stay down, and from bending it I can see that the hangtab now has that white line in the plastic from the bend. it wasn't there when I got it

    Swapped cases?!? I would almost-never-sometimes-maybe-depending-occasionally do such a thing!!!
