Hello,

Doing some shopping I happened upon this title: I believe it to be sealed and could not find a price for said condition. Found a 4 year old post that had complete prices but nothing in terms of sealed. Anyhoo, anyone here have a educated guess? Also, this is a authentic seal?

    Looks legit and should be worth a pretty penny. Just don't sell to the first person to offer, field offers from all interested parties before you part with that gem!

    i cannot tell the difference between seal/reseal but it looks like the real thing would. I got this game from a local game store and maaaaaan, if this thing is worth around the 1k mark then did i ever catch them slipping.

    Yeah that seal looks legit. I would agree with it being around 1k. I could see it going above that in an open auction with no reserve. You may get more money for it though by fielding offers like jonebone said.

    WOW. It looks like a real seal just from what I can see. but look at the flaps and see if you can see any evidence of wear from it being opened. That's a real gem you found there, seriously. I would love to own it.

    Yeah I also thought $1k seemed low but I didn't want to pile in on the hype train. Quite honestly, I'd expect a Mint CIB to be around $1k these days. I'm sure multiple people would pay $1k for sealed.

    Thanks for the input, people. Seems like this game is worth a fair bit. I am unsure of what I am going to do with this bad boy, I am enjoying the thrill of the hunt for the time being.

    You will probably get more auctioning in on eBay (even after fees) than on NA.

    I don't even want it and I would slap a $1K opening bid down for shits and giggles. Auctioning it on NA is the last thing I would do with an item like this.

    Box seems to be solid all the way through. No wear, folds, bends or any other bad stuff. I almost dont want to touch it due to my butterfingerness. There is a very slight impression where the retail sticker was taken off. Outside of that it's in really good shape. I am not at all a professional grader, though. I also can not make it stand straight up from the bottom. I think that's just because of where the seal seam lies (lays?)



    As for the price I paid; If you ever saw the "GET IN THE CAR" Ikea commercial a while ago it was similar to that reaction as I was with a pal.

    I'm not really sure if this price check thread is relevent anymore, seeing as how it's nearly a year old.
