Just saw on the news that every state now except for Alaska, Hawaii, and New York has an average gas cost of under $2.00 per gallon! Currently about $1.65 here in San Antonio Texas!
Yeah I paid $1.79 last time I filled up. Wenatchee tends to be higher for some reason. I can go 2 hours in any direction from here, in some directions only an hour, and it's $1.60's. Always has seemed odd to me... guess it's just shipping costs.
erik, thats nothing! i live in 1 town where gas is about 1.79 on average, i drive 20 minutes to work where gas is 1.69 on average, and if i go 20 more minutes in that direction, gas is 1.59 on average! its crazy!
Edit #2: Referring to my first edit... Earlier today, there was a BP posted at kcgasprices.com with a price of 99¢/gallon. It has since either been deleted/updated/expired/etc., but it was certainly there.

Kansas City, MO (and its respective metro area) still has the cheapest gas in the country (some stations are down to $1.29 a gallon there).
I filled up yesterday at $1.57.
Nice to fill up for less then $20 again...
We've officially hit the 6- digits here in Ottawa. Something I haven't seen in years and years.
