I actually enjoyed Robodemons. It's poorly programmed and impossibly hard, but I like those overview shooter-adventures. Like Die Hard and New Ghostbusters II, but worse. But still kinda fun. There's powerups, that's a positive!
Silent Service was great in it's day. It just hasn't aged well. I remember renting it 3 or 4 times when I was a kid and playing the shit out of it. Same as Defender of the Crown, although that one isn't nearly as common. And before you blame NP for it, I never even read an issue until, oh, about 9 years ago. Found some back issues at a used book store near my school. I had a bunch of issues of Gamepro from '92 on, and played my NES almost exclusively until '99...hell, I didn't even have another console aside from my Game Boy until then! Most people remember renting Mega Man and Gradius when they were kids, but I remember renting stuff like Bucky O'Hare, Joe & Mac, RoboCop 3, Bonk's Adventure, Contra Force, and a slew of other late releases. Maybe that's why I'm so into alot of the titles nobody likes.
Anyway, back to the point...it wasn't a bad game in it's day.
I played Defender of the Crown a lot on my C64.
I remember renting Fester's Quest. and had never herd of the Adams family. Theres one point in the game where you get something from Wedneday, and I thought I had time travelled.

Every game has some good to it Dan...there are no truly horrible games. I challenge anyone to find a game that doesn't have anything going for it.
I accept.
Robodemons
Target Renegade
Home Alone
Edit : Just checked Target Renegad, and the game is bad, but not that bad.
