Wonder if they'll still have certain entrance music swapped out of the older Wrestlemanias on the WWE Network?
I've been a pretty diehard WWE(F) fan most of my life, but I've fallen out of it more and more lately. I think the Network is a great deal, but what blows my mind even more is all of my friends who fell off the WWE train long ago talk about how great it is. Like they'd love to go back and watch all the classics and possibly even get back into it all over again with PPV's being so cheap and easy to see now. This could be a nice rebirth boom in the rasslin business if they play it right.
I am actually going back right now with my 3 year old watching the birth of Nitro. We are watching the episodes in order along with the PPV's. Only 2 episodes away from Halloween Havoc 95', I bet this Monster Truck showdown is going to be epic, lol. Watching these old shows I watch when I was younger is great to share with my son, can't believe how much he is enjoying it. Fun to see his first reactions to stuff I seen almost 20 years ago.
Me and my 4 kids play WWE All-Stars for Xbox 360 and they all got into a huge Andre the Giant and Ultimate Warrior kick. We spent a lot of time watching old clips and practicing moves on each other. Of course, the older kids got too rowdy and started actually hurting people.
I was a huge WCW fan as well. Not so much the early years where they just had Sting and Luger. I was a WWF kid when I was little. I jumped in when they started snatching up all the WWF dudes like Razor Ramon and Kevin Nash. Watching it evolve into the NWO vs WCW was a lot of fun. Then it got to be too much and i quit watching. Right around the time when DDP and Leno teamed up and fought. I thought that was too far.

So Rodman and Malone wasn't too much?
I think Rodman was pushing it but it was tolerable. That was still towards the end so I was falling off the wagon at that point anyway. Malone and DDP teamed up right? Yeah I think that was super lame too...i forgot about that.
The best part was the formation of the two sides. It was pretty exciting when almost every week some old WWF star would show up and join a side. Then we had Goldberg come through and that was a lot of fun too. They were really good at creating drama and personas during that time. That's also when WWF was focused more on sex appeal and chicks with bikinis. Not that I dont like that sort of thing but i couldnt really get into it so I switched over to WCW at just the right time.

Yea, I was wondering that as well. It's dumb enough when music has been edited out from live performances with bands who were at the event, but it would make most of the original ECW entrances pretty lame if there was no audio. (New Jack anyone?)
Here's to hoping the music can be aired since it's not being sold in a physical form for retail.

You didn't miss anything. Unless Judy Bagwell on a forklift match sounds like something you've been looking for.
Also given the original programming they'll be putting on there such as Legends House I'm actually excited for the network. I just hope it isn't a giant mess launch week.
If only this was available for the Royal Rumble.
On terms of Owen Hart I think they ran into some sort of issue when they released the 'Superstars of the 90s' DVD set as there was Owen Hart stuff on there not approved. I could be wrong on that though.

It's only my opinion, but for me Rodman vs. Karl Malone was a match made in HEAVEN as massive WCW, NBA, and Chicago Bulls fan at that time, and I think it was the end of a magical era in both WCW and the National Basketball Association. I don't think WCW was as bad as you guys make it out to be by then, hell WCW/nWo Revenge for Nintendo 64 was still MONTHS and MONTHS away and I was still a massive WCW fanatic at that time and was so super pumped when that game finally came out and it gave me and my brothers great memories through Christmas 1998. If memory serves me right Goldberg still hadn't even defeated Hulk Hogan at the Georgia Dome for the WCW title by that time, which in my opinion was the greatest moment in WCW Monday Nitro history. You might not know or remember this, but in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, the final game of the amazing run for the dynasty Chicago Bulls of the 1990's, the duel started early in Salt Lake City. Karl Malone was coming off a monster 40 point performance on the road in Game 5 at the United Center and he picked up where he left on in Game 6.
Into the second and third quarter Dennis Rodman began playing tight defense on Malone and it got to the point where a very memorable tussle happened off camera on the floor scrapping for the loose ball in which Rodman and Malone wrestle each other for a bit and get into a shoving match before Rodman grabs Malone's leg and trips him to the ground, sending the crowd and Bob Costas into a frenzy, "That's gotta be a flagrant foul! You have got to call a flagrant! He and Karl Malone regrettably are scheduled to wrestle in one of those bogus events next month, why Malone would want to lower himself to that is anyones guess, but apparently Rodman wants to start the wrestling now!"
Rodman vs Malone wrestle during 1998 NBA Finals
Malone again had one of the best games of his entire career, scoring in a myriad of ways time and time again. His confidence became so high that each time he marched down the court after a made basket he began to flash the diamond cutter hand signal.
In the biggest 48 minutes of his professional career Karl Malone was feeling the bang for sure.
Of course the finish of the game would end in classic nightmare fashion as the games greatest player stripped the ball out of Malone's hands with Utah up one...
And with the championship on the line Bryon Russell could do nothing but watch as the stars aligned for the Bulls one last time.
Michael Jordan sank the game winning shot as only he could. It is the most legendary game of basketball ever played.
The 90's were just an awesome time and that summer combined so many things that I loved so much.
Some people thought this idea was a real stinker. But I loved the moment.
The WWE network will be available on PS4 and XBOX ONE, will I be able to watch the WWE network in Canada if I buy one of these systems?
I've been missing a lot of wrestling lately because of work. That being said if anyone gets the network let me know if you can re-watch missed episodes.
They are planning to re-air episodes of Raw and Smackdown after they initially air. Not sure on the time frame from the shows original date when they will air on the network, but I would imagine a couple of days.
As of right now, you can stream through PS3, Xbox 360, and PS4. the Xbox One won't be able to stream until sometime this summer. I would see if you can stream with your Xbox 360 or PS3 before I bought a new gen system for streaming.

Until it's officialy released up here (Later this year or early 2015 they say) we won't be able to get it... but there are always loopholes. I don't know, so this is a guess (and I have yet to actually do this), it would be like getting US Netflix here. Change around your IP setting so your device looks like its coming from the States and it should work.
I live in the outskirts of Atlanta, home of the WCW. I went to UFC Fight Night and guess who was there. None other than "The Nature Boy" Rick Flair. During the boring matches everyone would WOOOOOOOOOO! over and over, it was pretty funny. If it got to quite then someone would let out a WOOOOO! and it would start the chain reaction of everyone doing the Rick Flair WOOOOOOOOOO!!!.
All in all the WOOOOing was the best part of the night even though Flair left before the main event.
That Daniel Bryan storyline didn't last long (thank god)... I'm pretty sure McMahon has a thing about wrestlers getting over he doesn't want to get over, so he will do everything in his power to bury them storyline wise and steal their heat. Thankfully Bryan is too over for that shit to happen to him.
Also, I hope Batista doesn't come back and win the Rumble like people are suggesting. I've never been a huge fan of that steroid-freak, (although his last heel run was solid)... the fact he's buddies IRL with HHH doesn't make him an "top guy" like he thinks he is.
He can squash guys like ADR and 3MB for all I care, I just don't want him forced into the title picture when he's only gonna be around for 6 months at most.
I'll be in for the network if it is in fact 100% unedited. I have 100s to 1000s of hours of stuff on my computer that I obtained through various means ( dont judge me) as well as DVDs of most of the early ppvs. A lot of the hard drive footage is vhvs quality or edited and all the DVDs are pretty much edited. I'd live to have a quality source for unedited footage. I still need to check out the jake the snake appearance yet. And how about the Ultimate Warrior going into the hall of fame? Think we'll see him full paint and all on wwe tv soon?
I wonder if they'll still show the nudity like the couple of times Jacqueline had her breasts exposed in 1998 or when The Kat ripped off her top in 1999. Those were the moments I once lived for lol. Of course the all time best was when HHH was going to pedigree Stephanie and exposed her. That was my desktop background forever back when I was like 15 years old lol

I had no idea about that Sephanie/HHH incident. Then again, it happened during the years where I wasn't really watching wrestling. Gotta love wardrobe malfunctions.
I've heard that they think really highly of Roman Reigns backstage so I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him a push and had him win the Royal Rumble. Personally I think that would be pretty lame.

I don't see him winning, but I can see them going the Kane route and eliminating a f'ton of guys and them pushing that. Will the Shield breakup really begin to happen in the rumble with Reigns "accidentally" eliminating his partners when they are working on one of the big guys?
Every year I wish just once they would let some random dude win the Royal Rumble. It should be the one event where a fluke win would be the most believable. The winner doesn't have to pin anyone, just get them over the top rope. That happens like 15 times in a normal match. It's so lame how you always know of the 30 participates 25 of them have no shot.
You might say, "but B.A., the winner gets a title match at Wrestlemania, they can't give that to just anybody!" Wrestlemania is still like 3 months away, plenty of time for the winner to lose their shot at the title in some match on RAW or whatever so that it can be rematch #1341352351324 between Orton and Cena.
My other hope is #1 in the Royal Rumble this year we hear Ultimate Warriors music hit, followed up by #2 Hulk Hogan! I think my head would explode seeing those two standing in the ring together 1 on 1.

They've been building a CM Punk vs Reigns feud for the past few weeks. Will that bring Reigns to the main event picture? Also, Batista, they have to give him a few matches in the main event to make him relevent again as well, so I wonder what he'll be doing after the RR.
On another note, apparently Ryback is pretty hated backstage (and if I may be so bold) fans as well. Not even the good kind of hate for a heel, but just as a person and a wrestler. Who else is that reckless idiot going to injure?

I'm seeing CM Punk vs HHH at 'Mania. They started that with the NOA walking out on Punk this past Monday. I'm guessing it was on orders from HHH and they are going to revive the rebel vs authority storyline that was really good awhile back.
