Best Animated / kids Series of the 90's

Hey guys, anyone remember any good animated shows from the 90's?  I used to love reeboot, as well as all of the old nickelodian series. Ah, 90's tv was so good, I miss it image...

Does anyone remember Rocko's Modern life, Kablam, Are you afraid of the dark, animaniacs, tiny toons, freakazoid, or obscure series like the back to the furure toons, ace ventura, and the mask and earthworm jim cartoons? Thundercats was also amazing!

Post any fond memories you have of 90's tv image

  • Doug, Hey Dude, Rocko, Salute your shorts, Dexters lab, 2 stupid dogs, Tiny Toons, Anamaniacs, Hamtaro, Chip n Dale, pete and pete, Rocket Power was okay. I watched that Super Mario show too.
  • Forgot about Chip n Dale. That was good too.
  • The Tick.

"That Moustache Feeling" was about as good as cartoons get.
  • The Tick, Ren and Stimpy and Gargoyles are all you need.
  • Probly an 80s cartoon, since I remember watching it as a small kid, but the adventures of little koala was dope.. other favs david the gnome, tmnt, doug, grimms fairytails, inspector gadget, and that hippo and cat that used to fight between episodes of other nick shows.. I belive it was called sports cartoons.
  • doug, salute your shorts, gummi bears, power rangers, dinosaurs, sonic the hedgehog, bobby's world, wishbone, gumby

there were a ton of great shows from the 90's
  • Rocko's Modern Life is one of the best shows ever........... if anybody wants a professionally-looking bootleg copy of the entire series (all 4 seasons), PM me
  • Batman The Animated Series, and the X-Men cartoon on Fox are two that stand out for me.

Mighty Max is another under loved gem.
  • MTV-related shows, Beavis & Butthead, Aeon Flux, The Maxx, The Tick
    Batman The Animated Series
    Ren & Stimpy
    Animaniacs/Pinky & The Brain
    Dexter's Lab
    Space Ghost Coast to Coast
    The Simpsons

Watched quite a bit of Looney Toons, and popular/semi-obscure Hanna-Barbera and other cartoons from the 60's/70's as well... ie: Secret Squirrel, Wally Gator, Wacky Races, Pink Panther, Hong Kong Phoeey, and others. There was a channel that used to air these roughly from 8 PM until well into the morning in the mid-90's that I loved. I don't think they air those cartoons anymore. Shame.

Burnambill333: How much do you charge for your sets? I'm interested in one. I'll PM you tomorrow sometime.
  • Oh man! Some good ones named here for sure! Inspector gadget was classic! I also loved the Gargoyles cartoon and mighty max. I used to have all of the mighty max miniature sets image

O yeah, does anyone remember a power rangers type show called beetle borgs? It was like rangers on acid, and featured a blue Jay Lenno wannabe! Was some seriously messed up show, but i loved it image.

  • silverhawks, M.A.S.K, inhumanoids, dino riders, chuck norris, transformers, bravestarr, computer warriors, sectaurs, toxic crusaders, go bots, and a bunch more obscure ones I can't think off right now

  • Anyone remembers Bonkers and I used to love Power Rangers, X-Men, Spider-Man, Big Bad Beetle Borgs, Wild n Crazy Kids, Double Dare, Duck Tales, and Goof Troop.
  • bonkers and goof troop were great

    can't forget darkwing duck

  • I use to watch the crap out of TMNT, duck tales, and tale spin. Anyone remember Bravestar? I think this was very late 80's though by the main protagonist of the cartoon was an Indian and he had powers of different animals (strength of a bear, sight of a hawk, ect...)? Anyway... I watched the crap out of that when I was really little by I can't find it anywhere.
  • Definitely Batman The Animated Series, Xmen, and Spider Man.

As for gameshows...Legends of the Hidden Temple!
