New to the forum..
I'll make this intro short without going too crazy...I am a 32 year old artist/janitor (representing the 16 bit era) from New York City just got into to game collecting about 2 years ago after being inspired of watching tons of awesome collection videos on YouTube. However, I am a very modest collector and my sole focus is collecting and only collecting the ever awesome Nintendo Game Boy™ which include the Classic, Color and Advance games along with collecting the many limited edition console variants. Even though I grew up playing everything from NES, Sega Master, Turbo Grafx, Snes up to the Playstation 2- I always resonate back to the ole GB. hands down the best hand-held ever! there is so much to collect for that console- very fun and challenging ( and VERY expensive) if I am going to make a solid collection of games/consoles based on one type of handheld with having a limited space, I better make it a good one . Anyway as the topic summary suggest, I collect on a part time basis whenever I have extra cash at my disposal. I was recommended to this site from a seasoned NA member whom I purchased several Gameboy games via eBay and told me this is a good place to source out games im missing for my collection. But in the meantime im just working on navigating around this whole site, getting familar with the basics, most likely i'll be eyeing on forums dealing with FO, FS and auctions for the most part on here. For now here is an overview of my entire collection as of 1/23/2014; 111 CIB, 20 loose carts and 18 Gameboy consoles. Rarest GB game I own: Amazing tater (cart only), Rarest GB console I own: Gameboy Advance 20th Anniversary Famicom limited edition (Japan exclusive, 2003).
