The one thing NSMB has is a simultaneous 4 player mode. It's a blast with friends.
Difficulty is one of the things missing from a lot of new games. Pretty much any game nowadays can be beaten without breaking a sweat, while beating something like Contra or Ghosts 'n Goblins is quite a feat.
I wonder how come that everyone saying how easy modern games are, while many games I played on modern consoles (no Nintendo ones, though) were not easy to say the least, and some more like insanely difficult, with pure luck required to beat them. Ninja Gaiden 2, for example.
There's a few exceptions of course, especially Ninja Gaiden lol, but what percentage of new games do you beat vs the percentage of games you can be on the old systems?
