Golden Axe Warrior UPC Sticker

I have aqcuired a copy of Golden Axe Warrior for Sega Master System of a Craigslist deal. It was alot of money but I got this big bundle of orginal SMS games from the guy. It was his as a child. I know that the UPC barcode indicates it's a US version as well and some games make it rare. I have no idea if it will make this game more valuable so I am asking you SMS collectors about it.I will enclose some pics of the game and the barcode

    Unlike sonic it doesn't seem to have a crazy value jump, I'd guess maybe $20 more. It is a bit harder to find with you pc than without.

    I also got in the deal, Michael Jacksons moonwalker SMS, ghouls and ghosts SMS, castle of illusion SMS, aerial assualt SMS, paperboy SMS, and time soldiers SMS for about 100$ total

    Wow, that was a great deal. Golden Axe Warrior with the UPC sticker is worth around $100 by itself.

    According to VGPC, the cart only values of the games you listed are :



    Golden Axe warrior - $58, Michael Jackson - $30, Ghouls and Ghosts - $25, Castle of Illusion - $20, Aerial Assault - $22, Paperboy - $15, Time soldiers - $7. Sounds like you did pretty good! Are they all complete?



    Dont get all caught up on the UPCs though. They are merely a sticker on the box so a US store can scan the game in their computer system.

    Those prices seem super low and is why I rarely use VGPC.



    I've been looking for a Ghouls and Ghosts for under $40 for years and havent found one. I missed a few but they typically go quick or sit with huge BIN prices.



    Same with Golden Axe Warrior. It took me a long time to finally get one for the price I wanted. I saw a lot of them in the $100+ range but obviously didnt want to pay that.

    Sorry about that.  I was someone who sold one at $65 BIN or whatever for a really nice CIB.





    I didn't want to sell it, so I threw it up at a stupid BIN, I was like, it would take THIS to get me to sell it. 



    Someone bought it.



    I wish I would have kept it.

    Those prices are cart only. I dont ever really go by the CIB prices cause their is so much to adjust price (whether it be a crappy box, a manual without a cover, a totally 10/10 copy, etc).

    Ha, no need to be sorry man. If you put a price on something and someone pays it...then that's basically what it's worth. $65 isnt outlandish but I set my mind on $40 for a while and I might just need to bite the bullet and up my ante.

    all of the games came complete in the case. but i think the golden axe warrior was the only the with the UPC sticker

    Yeah I've seen a lot of non-US versions. 



    I'm looking for the "new" in the corner and the vertical manual.

    Shit dude I sold my GnG for $30 back in October. Should've held out if I knew they would be worth this much now.

    ok. I paid 43 dollars for my GnG in december but it has a tiny chunk of the corner taken out of the cover art. Otherwise it is near mint.
