  • Hey bro don't be so mean, we are not judging you. People are curious and with reason, we are speaking here of a cart that only 26 copies existed (or still exist, I'm pretty sure that some of them are lost).
  • $50,000 for my near mint gold one. Let's go.
  • I don't mean to be an ass, but I have gotten and seen messages where people are being the same, it's all good though! Have to vent, right, as I will prob still own my beloved game even though bids are going crazy. The last one hasnt seen any money yet....poor dude, wish they person who put that high bid would muster up the courage to pay for something he committed to.

If you would like the list of all the fake bidders so that you can block them from bidding on your auction I'd be more than happy to send it to you.

I really want to see what an open auction NWC Gold is worth!
  • Shoot them my way please
  • He's got no label, so even with that said it will still be a mark on the auction if it goes lower than normal..

Agreed 100% on that man, but still it's a REALLY awesome data point given the fact that it *is* missing a label....I'm considering the data a bit contaminated though since NWC is in ultra-hype mode right now.
  • eBay lets buyers get away with everything. They are terrible. 100%. The fact that this can be manipulated to no end is appalling. They need to suspend a user for 7 days, 30 days, and indefinitely each time they pull stuff like this since they do it to sellers are will for far less.
  • If you asked me for pics of the board check your email cause they were sent a few hours ago
  • So now are you not allowed to sell NWC carts on eBay? This must be part of internet law now.

Do I have to be locked to a computer all day or is there something wrong with my iPad or iPhone.....if I were to head to the office post the auction, I wouldn't have done it.....spur of the moment....yep I sure a heck used some of the pre typed verbiage from the last grey cart the was up, saved me time typing some stuff.....I was going to add some other pics of the cart but didn't have a nes tool handy, how many of you do? So I have photos  I got done today after a 3 hour drive to add to the auction, unfortunately they aren't attaching right but if you want to see them shoot me a message, some have seen them and they would prob agree....real deal....the  missing label, get with it collectors and learn the linage behind the game and the shoty job NPM did putting them on and how many that have surfaced have the label.....do be jealous that you don't have one, be happy for others.....

um, why don't you upload the pictures on a site where people can look at the cart

you can edit your auction ez and just put in the link there (instead of messaging ppl 1 at a time )

open up a free photobucket account and upload the pictures there.... >.>

basically having the auction already up for a couple of days and yet to show pictures of the inside of the cart is just lazy (copy and paste lazy)

And would be better to have in the auction because theirs shady people
  • There is no way the top bidder is gonna pay for this... $100,000 is a ridiculous over-payment for this game.

Especially when EarlyWorm is only asking $27,000 for his VGA 85 Copy.

Earlyworm needs to ad a 0 now.  $270.000 seems a good ebay  price.   ;-)

  • I hate that these auctions are going to lead to Eartbound and the like getting posted for $5,000 BIN.

  • Interesting to stumble across on my facebook, I way off on the facts of the NWC gold

  • Heh, the Nolans should have sold theirs to Mr. Bauer for $84,999.
  • I hope your auction goes okay, mtn.  Personally, I would rather put something like this on Game Gavel.  There are fewer trolls, more passionate game collectors and people pull out of the auctions less often, from what I hear.
  • yeah I'm very afraid of the repercussion these 2 events are going to have on the collecting world.
  • not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but looks like he's added a link to the photos: http://s157.photobucket.com/user/mtnlife77/library/
  • It actually looks cool without the label sticking out of the console like that.

I do enjoy the fact that this "retro expert" that he had to travel 200 miles to see didn't have an actual NES to test the game on because we all know those are like $13,000.00 these days. I saw it on TV so I know it's true.

But serioulsy, this is an amazing week for rarities to show up. It's too bad all these fucktard fake bidders are ruining things.

No apparent repercussions = Not going to stop
  • So this is not Zelda, good news!
  • I will say that 200 miles to the nearest collector makes sense. I'm guessing he drove to Denver. There really is nothing in that area of the state.

I drive right past his home town once a month. I'll be headed that way again in a week. I'd love to check this out in person. Just seeing a gold NWC is not something you get to do everyday. PM incoming mtnlife.

Me too! NOT. I guess I'd be butthurt jelly, since I couldn't afford the insane price it'd go for. I don't think my wife will let me sell the house and move us in with our parents for it.
