Mario series has always been my favorite NES series..
Regular controller with power grips is my favorite controller setup.
I have both top loader and toaster.. Top loader gets more love as I've ben playing lots of famicom pirates and it's easier to load and unload them in a top loader..
No idea how Bubble Bobble gets mentioned (with a 3 part minimum and RI barely counts) when Mega Man and Ninja Gaiden aren't even mentioned!
Mario was the best poll choice for me.
RI counts, and the others aren't listed, but I didn't feel like thinking that hard this morning.. Care to submit some ideas with what you want on a poll, PM me if so..
^ Tokin, I'd agree that Contra is my favorite GAME, but Super C was mediocre and Contra Force was abysmal. I'd definitely say Mega Man is my favorite SERIES as a whole, but I had to vote for Mario at the time since it wasn't listed yet
Castlevania for me. My favorite controllers were from a third party and they looked very similar to the originals except they have rounded corners and turbo buttons. The sad thing is we used them so much as kids they are worn out, and I don't know where to find more now.
Man, that first question was hard. I think Contra, Castlevania, Megaman and Ninja Gaiden were all amazing. But I voted for Mario just because I probably played and still play them the most.

Yeah but your forgetting about Contra 3 which kicks so much ass it make's up for Super C.Besides that I agree with you, especially on Contra Force.
I was split between Mario and Megaman, but ended up picking Megaman, Regular controller I use the most with dogbone in second, and I rock my top loader.
Zelda. Jerks. If we're talking about just NES, I can't say Final Fantasy, because I guess it only got one game! (But I really want to say it because it's a fun game in a fun series). (Menus are fun). Other than that, Mario. It's hard to decide between those three. Or Contra. Or Bubble Bobble. Or Ducktales. Or Nobunaga's Ambition. Or Destiny of an Emperor. Or Dragon Warrior. Screw it, I don't know.
I prefer the normal controller, but as for system who cares.

Dogbone, I think I liked SNES controllers best but then the dogbone was a way of mixing the 2.
I was deciding between top loader and toaster...but the squeak in toaster really bugged me sometimes. Top loader.

i use both systems, toaster in my living room and a toploader in my basement. but i voted for toaster.
and i love the power glove, it's so bad! j/k i use the regular nintendo controller 99% of the time
