I never even knew I belonged here
Hi guys. I've been playing NES (and SNES, Genesis and PSX when those became the cool new thing) since I was a little kid and been playing those games pretty consistently for the past 25 years. I've amassed a pretty decent sized collection of games over the years and never really thought about them from a collecting perspective. I've recently been setting up my man-cave which has made me start to think more about my games as a "collection". Last night I was going through the banana crates full of NES games I have and using the nice little tool this site has for cataloging and pricing my stuff and what do I find but a copy of "Little Samson". Not a bad little jewel in my collection. Now I'm feeling pretty upbeat about spending the cash to round out my collection with some of the games that have always been missing from my selection (e.g. Double Dragon).

It's also nice to see another PS1 aficionado. The PS1 has some amazing titles many people avoid due to some 90's style graphics and some games have longer load times then modern gamers have grown accustomed to. So many unique hidden gems to find on that system.
Welcome to NintendoAge.
The finding of Little Samson and finding out the price it's currently worth was kind of a jaw dropping moment...lol I spent the rest of the night sorting through those boxes properly cataloging everything. Not in the mind set where I would ever pay $700 for something like that (I cherish my well loved copy of Dragon Warrior far more than what I would consider to basically be a novelty of my collection). But finding it is exciting and definitely convinces my finacee that it's not just silliness to expand my retro game collection.
BTW just cataloged my SNES games and discovered that my copy of E.V.O. is worth quite a bit of $$ as well...nice
