Not me. These are ridiculously high end and rare items that re-sellers will learn a valuable lesson on if they are taking these auction end-prices at face value. Do you think anyone is in line to pay 25k for that Nolan's copy? You couldn't find someone to pay, I dunno, 8.5k yesterday, what has changed today? NES prices have already started to drop for the most part, because the market for those in need/who actually want the games is shrinking. If even more re-sellers want to re-enter the market, it's only going to end with the sellers competing with each other to sell. Eventually, sellers sitting with these ridiculous prices on games that have sat for years will lower their prices and get out of the business. There aren't enough new seroius collectors/buyers entering the market. Not to mention the negative impact of the increasing number and sophistication of fakes.
No doubt that will eventually happen. It happen with baseballcards then comics, then toys, and videogames is just the next bubble soon to come. Every day I wrestle with myself to dump the collection while the market is nuts, but since most of my games I bought as a kid it's a little tough to sell them off.

No, you're talking 80s and 90s stuff. CIB titles have not went own. It's eBay's fault for trying to make everything look like Amazon but believe me, most people are still laughing all the way to the bank.

Today is day 6 of this auction being at 100,088. Curious. curious indeed. I predict this is the final sale price and the top bidder will not pay. I hope for better for mtn life but that is my hunch.

I don't think they have any limit on the number of bid retractions you make. eBay allows those for limited number of reasons like entering the wrong bid amount. Either this bidder has really bad typing skills or they are abusing the retraction system.
eBay does have a limit on the number of wins you can back out of after winning.
