...and a whole lot of slimes. Tons of slimes. Too many to count.

I'm not new to video game collecting, but I'm a part-time game collector, mainly due to the fact I also collect anime cels, anime/fun dishware, anime/video game LPs, Dragon Quest soundtracks, Dragon Quest anything, fabric, etc, etc, etc. I simply don't have enough funds to collect everything at the same time, so I tend to go in cycles. Most of the video game collection is still comprised of games that I am the original owner of, from NES through current-gen. I fill in holes for games I want as I find good deals on them.

Random things about me: I was the girl who rattled on about her video games and Sephiroth action figure back in school while most of the other kids gave me quizzical looks. I got back from three years teaching in Japan back in 2011, which was murder on my wallet. Yet the slimes keep coming~

I try my best to buy CIB, but my limited income means that it's a new game every month or so, depending on what I'm looking for at the time. I actually share custody of the video games with my parents, as some 25+ years of collecting have led to confused ownership of some of them. I'm the only one playing them 98% of the time these days, though, so I claim salvage rights at this point.

I'm not looking for every game ever made, but there's some RPGs and old NES & SNES games that passed me by that I'm still filling in. Slowly.

Nice to meet you all!

Edit: Picture is of the bulk of the actual game collection as of about 10 minutes ago. The boxes for all but my newest DS and Advance games are in storage, the games are in that little blue box with the NDS on top of it. If I get to a place where I can have more shelves, I'll be able to display them again.
