...even after I asked if she would like me to go down to the game room and unplug the old 1977 Atari VCS Woody and hold it up for comparison.

Got a picture of this in a random Dell spam email and thought it was priceless enough to share. Trends really do come full circle. Just remarkable.

    I guess I can see the allure of woodgrain casing for something that will be in your living room. But Hi-Fi rigs sitting on consoles in the main living room have been out of style since the 80's.
