  • Maybe their eBay name should be quickcashitinbeforeeveryonerealizesisellfakes1.
  • So, fake high-end titles this week include...

  • Lol wow people are dumb
  • I missed the Stadium Events one

Looking forward to a read through
  • He's just trying to figure out the value for his friend, ya'll.
  • And New Jersey again too. Betting it has a 5 screw SE cousin.
  • Looks fake, traces of white around the edges of the label.
  • It doesn't even have security screws. And the rear label is from a 5 screw black box cart.
  • I don't think screws would determine the legitimacy, and aren't a lot of the black box labels found on other earlier production carts as well?

Not to mention, it is missing the TM logo to the right of Samson and its missing the flapping motion from the dragon wings to the right of the "N" of Samson.

The question is now, is it s true Little Samson boad on the inside that got a new housing? Has anyone asked for pictures of the board?

NA is on fire catching fakes this week. Good work.

Edit: Sorry, those appear to be Dragons to the right of the "N", not the flapping of the wings from the Dragon in the foreground. Either way, they are still missing on this label.
  • I've got a 6 screw Ufouria!

    sell, sell ,sell!
  • Damn this is sad.

Good points. All in all this looks like a pretty good fake though. Lots of newer collectors would not notice. The seller must just be really hoping the buyer doesn't look at the board?

  • Is this the same guy that was on here recently trying to pimp a fake 5-screw LS before he was called out and left?
  • For fuck's sake, this is getting ridiculous. What an obvious fake. lol

What an obvious fake that is getting bid up over $400!

This hobby is starting to suck.

Its an obvious fake to myself, but ive been doing this for awhile.

Someone that may only be getting into the hobby the past year probably wont notice. This is a pretty good looking fake. That label is pretty decent, aside from the colors. The fakes are getting scarey.

  • Ha pretty funny one of the reviews on the eBay game is Nick Morgan's old eBay account....

I'm betting that 5-screw SE was as fake as this cart is!
  • Looks like the auction was ended with less than 24 hours to go, but the cart has been relisted with this addition to the description:

NOTE***** WE HAVE ENDED THIS AUCTION ARE ARE RELISTING IT ***AS IS*** BECAUSE OF THE MESSAGES WE HAVE RECEIVED FROM EBAYER'S WHO HAVE CONCERNS WITH THE FACT THAT THE CASE HAS 5 SCREWS INSTEAD OF 3,. WE ARE A BUY AND SELL SHOP AND THIS GAME CAME IN WITH MANY OTHERS- ALL WE KNOW IS THAT IT WORKS AND HAS BEEN TESTED IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE BOARD INSIDE IS ORIGINAL AND IT WAS PUT INTO A REPLACEMENT CASE. WE ARE NOT GOING TO OPEN IT UP BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY TIGHT AND WE DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE IT. THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN TOLD.

It's already over $100. How sad.
  • Ugh, the coloring of the label is clearly off. It's way too blue. It's also too glossy.
  • They ended that one early too. The third listing has these two additions to their wall of text:

THE BACK OF THE CASE READS NINTENDO PAT.PEND. MADE IN JAPAN. CAN IT BE POSSIBLE A EARLY PROTOTYPE? WE ARE NOT EXPERTS AT VINTAGE GAMES!!!!!!

THIER WILL BE NO REFUNDS ON THIS GAME FOR WE ARE NOT SELLING IT AS AN ORIGINAL LITTLE SAMSON OR A REPRODUCTION LITTLE SAMSON BECAUSE WE REALLY DONT KNOW AND WE ARE NOT NO NINTENDO EXPERTS!!!!!!

  • This is such a shame....Because they accept no responsibility for this by claiming it may or may not be fake, ebay allows it to continue. Auctions like this are just going to pave the way for all the other guys that make and sell counterfeit games and show them that as long as you write as is and claim not to know.....You can get away with it. Over $200 without even having a shot of the board.....Buckle up everyone, we are in for a bumpy ride.
  • This place is a scrap yard with a little pawn shop upfront. I am about 30 minutes away from the shop. Bought from them before on and off ebay. A one teww tree kind of operation they run...
  • You should go there and open the game for them . Bring a five screw back halo in case "it breaks" like they said lol
  • Real talk? Real talk.

Warms my heart that we have like a full blown forensics team here at this forum to bust people like this. It's like we have our own retro gaming Justice League that won't shit like this go down.

    Keep up the good work.
  • Looks like ebay removed it finally
  • Here's a Youtube video about this cartridge
