Help me find this game!

in Collector's Corner
So, a game from my childhood that I can not remember the name of keeps coming to mind. All I remember is it was a side scrolling platformer and you were some kind of Skeleton/Metal ninja or samurai type guy. The intro screen was the main characters face sideway and he was somewhat marching. 



can anyone think of what this game might be?

    That made me immediately think of The Revenge of Shinobi / Ninja Gaiden / Shinobi 3 with the ninja character or the Termintor titles. Though I don't recall those having the intro screen with the main characters face sideway and marching, plus T2 isn't a side-scroller. I am sure someone will know what you're trying to find and will chime in soon enough.

    Got answered on a facebook group.  It was Mazin Saga Mutant Fighter

    the real heartbreaker now was me pricing the game CIB. lol definitely not a bargain bin game!

    Absolutely. I got lucky and got a CIB one for 8 bucks, and man, its absolutely worth what i paid. Fun beat-em 'up, with some cool boss fights.

    Wow, sounds like i got pretty lucky then. Honestly, i live in Upstate New York, and Sega just isn't popular here, so you can get a hell of a lot of great deals on CIB stuff. I nabbed a No Escape recently that was complete for 3 bucks. Its crazy. Only stuff that commands high prices up here is the obvious stuff, and even then, it tends to be lower then Ebay/market (most CIB Castlevanias are around 25-30 here)

    I've talked about this game a while back and it's quite obscure and uncommon. I guess it's a hidden gem as the beat em up levels are quite enjoyable. I just don't like the clunky boss vs. battles and the game is almost unbeatable cause of it or I just suck at them. Attempted to beat this one earier today, no dice...

    I'll keep my eye on people's wanted lists and for good deal. I do have a double of this game, in cart only form, if someone is looking for it. Its a worthwhile game to help send to someone else's collection.
