Absolutely awesome. You need to really like the show to understand a few things.
Gotta buy 'em all! Chinpokemon!!
I keep saying that out loud like the commercial, its driving my GF nuts.
I Really, really , really enjoy it. It is really well done, exactly like the show. Animation is perfect. The battles are fun and intuitive, and some of the jokes actually had me LOLing. I am only an hour in though.
I've been playing it for the last 6 hours. It's very VERY enjoyable so far. If you're a big fan of the show, there is no way you won't enjoy this game. You become fully immersed in a very detailed town of South Park, with new show references every few minutes.
About 2 hours in, funny as hell. Cartman is such a little shithead. The game is like playing an episode or movie of South Park, I love how you can interact with all the townspeople. Go into Stan's house, and there's Randy in his underwear watching TV. If you're a fan of the show this game is perfect for you.
I want to post Al Gore spoilers, but I'll hold off. This game is really great. I'm in that "just one more sidequest" mode that great RPGs suck you into. I played about 9 hours today and I'm still discovering all kinds of new areas.
I ordered Grand Wizard for the cost of the regular edition at Bestbuy, but it hasn't shipped yet. No hurry to play, but rather annoyed release day came and went and they haven't even shipped yet.
Yesterday I started watching some guys stream of that game in the early afternoon and just couldn't stop watching. I ended up spending five hours on the stream. That game is so ridiculously funny and I'm sure every South Park fan will enjoy it. There are also tons of easter eggs included. It also looks very solid as far as gameplay goes. The attacks and items are basically insane versions of things you'd expect.
I'm actually debating on getting this game when it comes out tomorrow because it looks so awesome. I usually don't do that but this game really got me thinking.

What is up with all the "junk"? I get that it is a way for them to throw mentions from the show in, but is any of it important to keep? Every time I get to a market, I end up selling it all and making like 75.00

It's just crap you sell to make money, has no use other than to make obscure references to past episodes.
I wanted to play it, but I won't because Europe censored the hell out of it. Geez, it's back to the "Teenage mutant hero turtles" days for us. Fuck you Europe
I just finished the game wearing a fairy costume and a condom on my head. It took me just over 16 hours and I finished all the side quests that I could find, except for the homeless one. I collected all but 3 Chinpokomon.
It was a really fun game and I can honestly say I've never laughed as hard playing a game as I did with this one. One gripe that I have is that the Thief class (which I played) was not terribly interesting. I never felt like any of the "Abilities" that I unlocked really gave me a huge advantage. In the end I beat the final boss using a regular weapon and the abilities of my partner. I'm debating playing again, but I still need to finish Donkey Kong: TF!
Well I did all the possible side quests (I think) except the kill the homeless since I can't find the very last one. I got the one by Kenny's house and the ones in the sewer and another one up in South Park somewhere but I can't find the last one. There might be more quests in Canada..idk. Also the lost forest? But other then that it's just getting achivements and collecting items.
Sadly I have to restart the whole game since some items/achivements you can only get by doing x, y and z. And I didn't do them. I say sadly because even though it's a great game and funny as hell...I feel it's one of those games that you can't replay over and over again. Maybe a few years from now after you forget about it...but maybe I'm wrong...I'll have to replay it to find out!

Check at the bus stop, behind the bench (near where the South Park sign is) and there's a path behind the trees that leads to the homeless people camp.
I'm going to replay the game as jew as there's a few achievements only specific to theat class.

I caved and bought the wizard edition on Amazon.
Hopefully you didn't pay the outrageous price the resellers are listing it as.
Beat the game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will probably replay it after going to the gym in a few hours.

Nope. Amazon still had them in stock. I would never pay over retail for a new release.

It was a "free upgrade" for preorders through them.

Or you can keep all of your junk (don't sell) and get an achievement at the end of the game for doing so.
well way to late for that!
