Need help finding stuff.

Does anyone know where I could find a bunch of the flat 10" x 10" Lego baseplates for cheap?  I don't care what color, they just need to be flat and not cracked.  Suggestions?

  • Except eBay and flea markets, I don't really know where you could look for that.
  • Can't you get these from the LEGO website?

Yea, but they are like $7+ each.  I was looking for a cheaper one.  Case in point, the model of Nindo that I posted was 30" x 42".  That is about 13 of these plates, or $91.  At this price, the plates are anywhere from 33% to 50%+ of the price of the models.

  • Ah, ok -- I know nothing about that stuff, but it seems like a lot of fun. I still have all my LEGO toys from when I was a kid. Some really old stuff in there, like the sets I got when I was really young, where the arms and legs don't even move. I dig them out from time to time, and I still have a blast.
  • speaking of legos, in the process of cleaning my basement, i found a box of about 12 pounds of legos that i put on ebay... its already at over $30! boo yah! cleaning and selling junk is awesome.

MRN, sorry i cant help ya out. i only found 1 10x10 base and it was a raised castle base.

i wouldnt think you would be able to find these anywhere but on ebay or directly from lego. good luck finding them though!
