Decent Wii U lot

Scored this lot off another non-gaming forum I post on. The listing had been up for some time so I shot the seller an offer of $200. They took it, and I was happy to pay it. Probably not the best deal ever, but pretty OK nonetheless.

    Considering the price for the console + remote + nun chuck (brand new) and not even counting the games, 200$ is a pretty good deal. You just saved around 200$. In my book, this is a great deal!

    I've gotta say, it's pretty incredible. This is my first Wii U (not to dreail the thread) and I'm having a hard time understanding why this system didn't, and to a degree still doesn't sell better. It has to come down to software I suppose.

    I was at Toys R Us a few weeks back and a dad and his son had a convo beside me that summed up the Wii U perfectly.



    kid: Oh I want to get the Skylanders game

    dad: Ok, here, it's on the Wii.

    kid: No thats the Wii U

    dad: Uhhh, whats that, theres a difference?

    I don't understand how parents seem to grasp that Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One are all different machines and yet you go from Wii to Wii U and their brains just melt into ooze. I just don't get the "people don't understand its a new console" thing. Yeah, maybe if you are 60+. But the fact that perfectly functioning adults don't grasp that is kinda ridiculous.



    Back on topic, nice score. Been trying to beef up my Wii U library lately. I think I would sell a kidney for one of the Wii U kiosks.

    Damn HotD Overkill, game continues to elude me, great pick up though, it's really a great console, sucks the public just doesn't know it yet.

    Nice score! Love the Wii/Wii U. And all of those are top notch games (well.. i'm not as partial to ME3, but the wiiu version is a solid effort from what i've heard).



    Both Overkill and Extraction are amazing rail shooters. If you haven't played them, Extraction is a really gorgeous wii game. Has some fantastic character faces and voice acting all things considered. Good story overall too, much better than DS3. If you like grindhouse cinema, B movies, and obscene amounts of swearing to the point it is comical, you'll eat up HotD Overkill. The ending is mutha f*ckin' amazing!
