Yoshi's Story International Version NFR for sale on ebay (N64)

Just saw this on ebay, it is a Yoshi's Story International Version NFR for the N64, and I don't know much about the average price of this thing, but I am still pretty sure this price is absurd... what do you guys think? is it really worth $4000 or even $2500? And can you guys tell from those pictures if it looks geniune? I'm not paying that much money for this,  even though I am wanting to collect every single N64 NFR, but if any of you guys want it, knock yourselfs out:

  • 800 is the most ive heard of. But this was a year and a half ago or more.
  • 10 copies all sold for $250 a year ago from the same seller. Would put this title at $400 respectfully.

yeah, but does anyone know of one that sold less then a year ago, if any at all? who knows, perhaps there has been a major price difference since 2013 or 2012, i doubt it though.

I have a fair idea of the market trends for nfrs. A new collector may come along and over pay for it. The majority of long term nfr collectors were on the boat for the $250 copy last year. You'll find the only time a cart will jump value is if two established collectors are hunting it down. Zelda MM is a perfect example of long time collectors batling it out with new comers resulting in a price jump to $1200. Zelda MM falls into multi relms both fanboy and nfr so it is more likely to see these types of jumps.

  • He's probably testing the waters to see what messages he gets or has no intention of selling.

**Yoshi Int < Pokemon BB** No competition to be had between the 2. Guy has to be doing a simple show n no sell...lol

  • haha, or a "you know what, I'll give you a deal and knock off $1000. Then you get it for only $1500!" A steal, right?!
  • I bought a copy last year for $300, and could have picked another up for $275 but passed. This one popped up and i just laughed!
  • A seller can ask whatever they want for an item, doesn't mean it is worth that.
