Yea my buddy got it 3 months ago for $1.50 at a thrift store, flawless mint... I thought that was crazy, im just happy to get a copy of it for 125$ fun 2 player game for sure
Collecting snes games is a hobbie.. its not really about the money, or I would sell them all.. I have probably 15,000$ in games.. mostly snes/nes stuff.. pretty sure you can play most snes games online for free... I just like owning the actual Snes cartridge

True. In my mind this is one of the few games that has seen a justifiable increase in price. As I said, in my experience I've never seen one outside of ebay. And that's after 5 years of hundreds of hours of game hunting across multiple states. This game as been pretty damn expensive for a while which I think accurately reflects it's rarity. Throw in the fact that it's an okay game with a fun coop option and it's easy to see why it fetches so much.
I had one offered to me 6-12 months ago for $285 in a local brick and mortar store. For a game I had never played and could conceivably get the arcade cabinet for the same price I opted to pass. For those looking to have SNES completion then I could understand a bit more. Besides that though I had never seen it in the wild either across multiple states.
However, a congratulations still might be in order : ). Mofasa sold me his AF poster a few days ago (for a freaking outrageous amount you bastard). So I'll have AF 100% CIB once it arrives. I will be very very happy to cross that poster off the list.
