Another great find! Color Dreams in the wild
I drove 20 miles out of town to a garage sale that was posted on facebook. They advertised it as "Huge multi family sale - electronics, video games, and tools"
sounds good. get there. nothing. I managed to find a Wii Nunchaku that was new/sealed in blister, which sucks cause i actually need one and won't open this one -_-
Driving home with sorrow in my heart and longing in my head, i stop by a most peculiar private owned thrift shop called "Thrift Shop"
Mostly antiques, some VHS's. again, nothing good. i get in my car and go to leave when i look to the right and there's a resale store called "Resale Store" in the same strip mall. So i park in my same spot and walk over. i browse for 10-15 minutes. few ps1 titles, a disc cleaner, odds and ends, then the attendants (two older ladies that look like antique road show appraisers) tell me they're closing up, so i popped the question that leaves breath baited and hearts racing, "Do you guys have any older video games in back?"
First lady, "You mean like Atari? we don't get those"
Me, "No a bit newer, like Nintendo games."
Second Lady, "You mean the Marios?"
Me, "...exactly."
a few moments later they rustle around in back and bring a brown shopping bag out packed with NES games.
Second lady, " We haven't had time to put them on the shelves yet, they came in a few months ago and we forgot about them. $3 each if that's okay with you."
after a quick glance it was more than okay with me but i didn't have enough cash on me to take the lot and they didn't look the type to take plastic, so i asked, "Would you do $2 a piece if i take the lot?"
"Sure!" from both of them.
A fairly common lot and mostly doubles for me, but i managed to land a pretty uncommon game i've been looking for for quite some time. i'm sure you'll know which one.

haha Chubby Cherub was one of those games that was on my want list for a long time but only if i scored it in the wild.

i wanted to say "Bitch, i always ask."
Nice score, I always ask and always get "No" in response. I also ask about games...
