My Best Lot Find Ever, Really Happy!
I am always checking local adds online and looking for those awesome deals but can never seem to find any and when I do I'm always to late. So I usually have to resort to ebay and waste money shipping my games. So this story starts when I met a guy about 3-4 months ago to pick up a CIB Mario Paint that I won on ebay, but found out he was only lived like 35 minutes away, while we were meeting we talked a bit he told me to watch his ebay account for more CIB stuff. He told he would have a few more come up for sale. he collected as a child but now due to personal reasons he was selling what he had. I asked if he would give me first crack at buying? He said sure.
A few months goes by and I figured he forgot about me , but then I get a call from him asking if I was still interested he told me he had about 50 CIB games, about 20+/- loose games, boxed consoles(nes, snes, gameboy, N64) boxed controllers, 2 N64's with 8 controllers, most of the nes accesories, pretty much everything I wanted he had. He told me he wanted to unload everything as a package. So I asked what his price was, he started "I have all this valued at over 2500$, but if you take it all, you can have it for 600$.." So I jumped on it immediately, I almost scared the guy how fast I said I'll take it.
In the end I was astonished at some of these conditions and how much he had, I felt bad because of the memories this guy had with the games, I hope he's happy it wemt to a good home though.
Just felt like I had to share this awesome find with all you guys, I also love to hear stories of any similar finds! Thanks for reading!
