Finally checking off a big Xbox related goal

So I've been looking for a CIB Mountain Dew Xbox for quite some time now. Unfortunately, I wasn't big into collecting for Xbox when these were a bit cheaper. So I searched all of craigslist and found two CIB in the whole country, one in LA and the other in Denver. The one in LA was more expensive, but the seller responded with complete sentences in his emails and was willing to work with me on shipping and pricing. The guy in Denver responded to my query of it still being available and would he ship it to Phoenix with, "yes let me no want" Needless to say, I didn't totally feel comfortable with that awesome level of grammar and he responded after I had closed the deal with LA guy. The LA guy quoted me $18 for shipping, I sent him an even $20 via paypal, and postage on the box when it arrived was around $24, so I realize he ate paypal and extra shipping costs and didn't say anything to me, making him a cool guy. Anyhoo, I know it's not strictly Nintendo related, but I wanted to share because I rarely see these with the box. The box is a bit sunfaded, the styrofoam was cracked, and the paperwork was curling on the edges, but the actual console is minty fresh! I may have overpayed slightly at $220 shipped, but either way I'm happy to finally have one!

    Great tastes bud! It took me several years of searching to find one at a reasonable price, finally found a CIB Mint one for about $150 shipped around November last year. Definitely my favorite "Limited Edition" console, from any system or platform.

    That is a really cool looking system, personally I am not into Xbox at all but I like that one. I have never even seen one before this, heard of it but never seen it. Thanks for sharing!

    There was a guy here in Northern Virginia who was selling one of these Mountain Dew consoles and he wanted a similar price, however his wasn't CIB, so I still think you did great. Nice find, it's a cool looking system!
