do you buy items just because

they have nintendo, mario, on them. If your out and find a toliet seat with mario on it would you buy it just because of that reason. same goes with any kind of item.

myself i just have no room for anything.

    I was one time making a list of all the nintendo merchandise out there. It was really interesting to look through everything. I don't really have the money for that sort of thing though, and I mostly only like the vintage stuff.

    not really for nintendo stuff (although if i come across a box in nice shape i will get it no matter what) but if certain bands i listen to are on a dvd that i dont have i will get it.

    Sometimes I do, but i've cut back a bit and just try to buy things that don't look tacky.

    merchandising has gotten ridicolous. I saw an article in the paper today about Obama merchandising, they have Barack jimmy-hats.

    If its cool enough, and small enough, I'll buy it. I love Mario stuff, but I just don't have the room for any crazy big items.

    I was digging through a box of old toys that I had as a kid a few months ago and found 2 old Mario (well, one was Luigi) toys. Pretty sick.

    I will buy anything with a Nintendo character on it, but only if it's original gen (ie: NES-related merchandise released before the advent of the Super NES).

    yes i would. i some matchbox car sets with mario on them that i bought recently. but i wouldnt go extreme.

    I would and have bought different things. I seem to find books with Mario or Link in them. I found some hardback book with a ton of Super Mario 3 comics in them... then, later, my dog chewed up the book and ruined it! Anyway, to answer the questions, I have and would still buy items if they had Nintendo or their characters on it. I would however have to second Dr. Morbis and say that it has to be orginal gen... not anything remotely current. There's something about finding something that's almost as old as I am.
