2048 for NES

    I'm glad you made this. I actually started working on a port for the competition cartridge, but ran out of time. I'm excited that I get to play my favourite time killing game on the NES.

    Just a couple of notes:



    - the soundtrack is nice, but some notes are "crispy", but this is probably a problem with my soundcard or my monitor speakers. Again, I like the music.



    - it seems that from a line 4 4 4 4 going left you get 8 4 4 instead of 8 8. Can you confirm? It is a bug or you intended that way?



    Besides that, perfect!

    God Damn it! I've almost did it for the first time!

    It was Fun. Great Version of 2048! The Music is Great as well!

    Finally got around to playing it, and I managed to get 2048 on the second try, but only lasted a few moves after that.



    At one point in game, it glitched up the screen a few times, the last time was so bad that I couldn't see anything, but it went away after I went to the pause menu and back.



    I like the music too.

    I was unaware of this game's existence. After playing them both, I think it's an excellent clone, really well done. It'll hook me up for a while.

    How does the game work? I assume 2048 is some type of powers of 2 game judging by the screenshots. I'm intrigued.

    Very cool. It would be awesome to see some repros of this made. I feel like it would capture a "fad" and really encompass a newer moment of nostalgia in a form we are all familiar with

    This will probably be on the 2014 NESDev Competition Multi-cart.
