Dragon Quest V/VI Repros

Okay. Now that Final Fantasy III (SNES) is behind me, let's give the SNES Dragon Quests a try. I am thinking of ordering one or the other from OCDReproductions, but I have heard that some copies suffer from 'Engrish' or incompleteness. Which is the best way to go?

    DQ 5 is a pretty solid translation, but DQ6 does have its "engrish" moments. Make sure whoever you buy it from uses the most complete translation, which should be NoPgress 0.90 (2)

    If you're not against the DS, those versions are official translations with upgraded graphics and some added content. Highly recommend those over SNES versions.

    DQ V and VI translations are not that bad. You can play the whole game and understand whats going on. There are a few moments where grammar is way off, but its not that frequent.

    That a kitten explodes every time you commission a fan-translated reproduction cartridge. True story.
